Hi Helen, when you don't drink water your blood thickens . It's very important for your body. Lubricating the joints, nutrients to cells & eliminating waste. Drinking sprite is high in sugar & doesn't replace the importance of water. When you go to your Doctor he will probably ask about your diet & maybe put you on medicine. Please drink water ❤

I am a silent viewer on all the Hodges channels and will continue to remain silent and continue to view. If I had been the one to make the statements as Blooming did (which I would never make a negative statement) I would have been immediately hidden or blocked (probably by the MOD Blooming herself). That's what mine usually runs but I do have to take Rx to keep mine in range. Staying hydrated will certainly help. Helen, you look beautiful wearing black eyeliner....I think it makes you look younger. Hey, I'm 76 and I will be wearing my eye liner as long as I can and want to. They make magnifying mirrors to make the eye look lots bigger and that's a great help putting it on. I personally love makeup and I could care less about what anyone else thinks. You be you and make yourself happy. That's what I do! Speaking of happy, Helen, you and your whole family make me HAPPY by making wonderful videos. Thank you for being the pioneer to get this wonderful video content started. I love you and all the other sweet family members, too. P.S. I put ice in a large insulated tumbler and fill with water. Put a straw in and sip your water that way. I also like to munch on a cookie(s) while drinking many sips of water. Before you know it, you'll have to refill your tumbler with more water. My husband's heart doc gave him some paperwork that said 2300 mg of salt per day. That is roughly 1 tsp. I try to limit meals to 500 mg each. That way there is room to have snacks and drinks. Low sodium potato chips are good. We can't tell the difference between those and the regular as far as taste.

Hi Miss Helen make sure you make your follow up appt. I had the same happen to me on Easter Day. I scared my kids so bad. Water is so important I’m drinking 80 oz a day know.

A fridge with crushed ice and water in the door helps you drink more. Keep lemons and limes and squeeze them into your water. If you don't want to give up soda then use lots of ice and let it melt to water it down. You can add a little cranberry juice to your water, but keep in mind juice has just as much sugar as soda. Your kidneys have to work hard to clean up the sugar.

Get your water in Helen 💧😊❤ When you're dehydrated, your body releases hormones that can cause your blood vessels to constrict, which can lead to increased blood pressure

Phoebe should file a lawsuit against the company for condoning a hostile environment. It's part of the s/a law in the workplace!!!

Remember, drinking coffee actully will make you dehydrated because of the caffeine. Also, caffeine will raise your Blood pressure. When I quit coffee, my blood pressure dropped.

Watch the sugar content on that vitamin water...sugar...be safe...it can overload your body with too much. I lost too much potassium and magnesium, my muscles drew up and i could not get out of bed...it is horrible to get thru. They gave me iv's and it was better. Omg Steven your hair is so long and Bentley has grown up soooo much, Ms Helen your lovely as always, i am praying for your improved health and strength......i have missed you so much .. had to get computor fixed now im back...LOVE Y"ALL

Your health will improve when you prepare your own food. Frozen foods and restaurants have too much salt. Brew you some own green tea to drink. Do not drink what you find in the store. Green tea is good for you just like your coffee. Anybody can get dehydrated in this hot weather.

I'VE HAD HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE FOR 20 YEARS AND STILL KICKING. I JUST HAVE TO TAKE A LITTLE PILL EVERY DAY. BUT YEAH THE WATER IS IMPORTANT TO DRINK EVERY DAY. I DISLIKE WATER BUT I DRINK IT EVERY DAY. FIGURE OUT WHAT WORKS FOR YOU SO YOU CAN DO THAT ALSO.

Good pink salt or the grey celtic salt the best for you,, not the white stuff....we buy ours at the dollar tree. Keeps your water flowing so your feet do not swell ....Love you Ohio hugs

Steven Zabys in Ga might be dry or tough but you come to Mississippi. Zabys is one of my favorite to eat. Their Cobb salad is wonderful. So don’t put Zabys down it’s wonderful

Generally, seniors should aim to drink 1/3 to 1/2 of their body weight in ounces per day. 150 lb woman should drink 50-75 ounces of water per day. 💧 🚰 . There are big water jugs that have ounces on them. Fill to needed amount and you can see how much you need to drink that day.

Hi Grandma, So glad you are ok....I to have high bp and Dr.'s told me I should only drink decaf coffe🫤 I have been one who has enjoyed my coffee and must admit its been hard for me to do that. They told me coffee will run my bp high.
