Peace corp??

Participation does not cure idiotism. In this case, it aggravates it: it becomes a danger to others. The mass man reduces public demands to his private whims. He does not have nor is he interested in having the minimum knowledge for public and political life. The idea has been screwed into his head that his opinion-uninformed, improvised, superficial and predictable-has real value, because every opinion would be equally valuable.
