Good question! Jury duty is when you are called upon to be a juror in a trial. These would be the group of people who sit on the side of a courtroom and listen to the case, evidence, etc. and decide if the defendant (person accused) is guilty or innocent. When you are initially called (like in this vlog) you are part of a very large group that may or may mot be selected to be one of 12 jurors in a trial. Your initial summons are kind of like an audition/interview.
