Just remove the police entirely.. none of these knife wielding gangs, child molesters, burglers etc would last 5 minutes. The public can take care of themselves and their community, and the young, and frail, will be protected by the strong in their community. Do you know why crime is so high? Because the police will jail us for defending ourselves and our neighbours. If the police weren't in the picture, the streets would be safer than ever. Every man in the community would band together and drive out all the wrong doers and the vast majority of them would lose their balls immediately and start living normally, right now, all they have to worry about is a slap on the wrist and a fine or a few months in a holiday camp.. on top of knowing that not only have our police and government disarmed the public in every way possible but also will give that same public a harsher sentence than the criminals for taking action against them.. we have had more shootings than we EVER did before they banned firearms and made them largely unobtainable, they keep banning more and more knives and we can barely carry a swiss army knife without getting jail time these days yet apparently knife crime is higher than ever.. think about it this way, are you safer in an unarmed population? Because let me tell you right now, there is NO safer place on earth than in a room where everyone has a pistol on their hip.. the criminal or nut job who wants to attack wouldn't stand a chance and it'd be suicide. They target the obviously unarmed.. people always go to that same old "but look at america all the school shootings.." each and EVERY one of those shootings happened in gun free zones.. if every teacher had a pistol and armed security on the doors then they wouldn't make it through the car park, they target places where they know people can't fight back.. common sense, and our government have done EVERYTHING in their power to make damn sure that we are an entire island of people who can't fight back for lack of means to do so AND fear of harsher punishments than the criminals.. it's common sense and that isn't applied to ANY of our laws and restrictions.

Our law enforcement are not on the side of the eco-terrorists, which, ironically enough are turning people against them more than it's making people want to support them.
