I do have to agree with your advice about using the pre-wash scalp oil. I’m also 6 months postpartum and used it and it came back and more!

Yay scalp health! Part of my long Covid journey is hair loss. Accepting that my body is undergoing a ton of subconscious stress was step 1. Step 2 I bought JVN pre wash oil and nurture shampoo. My hair felt so unbelievably weightless that i didn’t even want to put it up into my signature messy bun. This helped with coverage too. Hair loss +fine hair= major coverage issues.

I loved the tip that was shared on Insta about using the moisture mask on dry hair. The woman in the post was putting her hair up in a sleek bun and it gorgeous. I added a little into my hair before heading to the gym this morning. Mostly to have a nice scent around me before becoming a sweaty mess but it definitely made my hair super soft.

Here after 7 tips for healthy hair. Can’t believe there’s so much I didn’t know about hair care, I’m surprised I’m not bald 🤣 thanks for sharing JVN.

I love that you addressed a few questions about hair growth and hair loss. I’ve always had lots of hair and my hair has always been the number one thing about me that I am the most confident about, so it’s been scary that in the past few months my hair has been shedding like crazy. I’m literally cleaning out huge clumps from the drain every time I shampoo (twice a week). I started using the JVN Trusted Trio and though I’ve yet to notice any new growth or change in the shedding (I know it takes a while to notice results) I can say that I’ve never used better hair care products than JVN and I’ve used some of the “best” in the business. I’ve also noticed since using the Trusted Trio my hair seems to be changing texture? I’ve always had super straight hair and now when it air dries (which these days is every time I wash it) it’s drying wavy, especially in the back, and I love it! I’ve always wanted wavy hair. Anyway, I’ve always taken really great care of my hair (even through my phase of bleaching and dyeing it pink, mint, silver, blue, you name it I’ve had that hair color 😂), but now my hair is thinning and the shedding is alarming and driving me bananas. I’ve never shed so much hair in my life, even when I was postpartum or when I was bleaching it every 6-8 weeks. It is now closer to my natural hair color for the first time since 7th grade and I haven’t gotten it colored since before I started noticing the excess shedding so I don’t know if there’s any correlation there or not but it’s never been less “treated” and taken care of and yet it’s falling out. I’m seeing my doctor on Monday and I’m planning on addressing this with her. I don’t know if it’s a medication I’m taking, hormones, lack of vitamins, stress (I recently moved from the LA area to the Charlotte area and that was stressful), or an underlying health issue that’s causing the hair loss, but I’m willing to do what it takes to get to the bottom of it and to try whatever might work to help me get my beloved hair back 🥺 Thank you Jonathan for all that you do and for being so passionate about creating truly amazing products that address all the issues we face with our tresses. It’s obvious that you care and that you want the best for us 😘

My husband and I have been saving money up for our first home we've literally only ate rice and beans for two years to save we didn't buy any extras. Nothing. We just closed on a house. This is huge for me as I never had a family home left at 15 to live on my own and it was definitely rough at times. I just gotta say struggling these past two years is worth it....I've been waiting so long to treat myself and literally the first thing I'm getting is some of your haircare I love what your about you exude love which is so refreshing in today's world. I'll be filling my bathroom in my home with your products which honestly never seemed possible this might seem silly to some but this is success to me. I could never afford any luxuries for myself there were many time I never had running water let alone my own home I often hid in the bathroom as a kid when things were rough and it's kind of a happy place for me. Loved this ! So just recently bought the JVN heat protection cream and was hesitant since I have always used a spray but let me say it is literally perfection! The consistency is ideal , you can make sure your getting it through all your hair and ends that need it and it makes your hair silky soft without weighting it down 🙌🏻 plus I feel like your get more product bc you know how much to use vs the spray you end up going through so quickly ! İ had alopecia a few years back, and ended up doing an old wives remedy. Rubbing garlic on the bald spots every night. Ended up looking like a chia pet for a few months but it did the trick. Went to the doc who gave me a non smelly alternative. 😂😂nowadays no one can tell İ had such an issue. İ am becoming addicted to your videos by the way. I'm growing my natural ash brown hair out from over 13 years if hair colouring.. it's sooo hard some days to feel beautiful with gross black hair dye residues and mismatching hues.. this video has helped me waaay better about it.

I totally vibe with Autumn and not getting haircuts… I got a bad haircut in like 1986 and I did nothing but trim off the ends of my long hair until like 2003. I AM NOT KIDDING. I didn’t even know what to do with my hair because it had just been hanging long and wavy for all that time!! Then I met a beauty school student who literally designed a perfect cut for me and I trusted ONLY HIM for a few years… and then one night we were at a friend’s house (WARNING THIS IS A HORROR STORY!!!) and I asked him if he had his kit cuz I needed a trim and we went outside so we wouldn’t hog the one bathroom in the house. NEVER GET A HAIRCUT NOT IN FRONT OF A MIRROR! That dude decided I would look so cute with “bangs” only when he asked me if I wanted them I said no and he ignored that and didn’t give me bangs he gave me the same awful mullet I got in 1986!!! I cried for WEEKS, y’all. Luckily everyone at that party ripped into him, including his boyfriend, because EXCUSE ME HOW DARE YOU NOT GIVE ME WHAT I ASKED FOR AND TRUSTED YOU TO DO. I wore pigtails for like a year to disguise the mullet while it grew out, and I was literally starting a new job at the time so I was like this quirky woman in her 40s who wore her hair in cute pigtails and I just went with it!!! The only sad part is I’ve never gotten that perfect bombshell haircut back. Close but not quite. That jerk did do something great and I haven’t figured out what. But he will never ever touch my hair again!!!

I have a question lovely! Is it bad if my hair artist (feeling stylist isn’t encompassing everything you people do!) cuts some of my hair while it’s dry? They do it wet and then like a touch up after they’ve dried it, before styling.

I am not a hairdresser but the best look I got when I grew up my undercut last year was to get the little hair braided. Big chunky braids and then I just flipped my long hair to the other side. It looked really good.

My aunts colorists helped her ease into grey/white amazingly. She was blond and he lightened her highlights slowly as the white/ light grey grew in and it was so well done and gradual that it was hardly noticeable.

The pre wash scalp oil actually really did help my postpartum hair loss and it’s still a staple in my routine!!

Jonathon, might I suggest you play kitchen beautician with Gary Lightbody of Northern Ireland’s Snow Patrol. And Aussie/English Tim Minchin. They have amazing heads of hair that need tweaking and hair care products.
