I heard that many people were moved to tears by the first conversation with my mother about death. It's heartwarming to know that they showed the video to their own parents to better prepare for death. I'm truly grateful for that.
At first, it wasn't easy for me to have an honest conversation with my mother about death, but after 10 years of contemplation, I was able to approach the topic more comfortably. My mother also received the conversation with ease, which deeply moved me.
That's why, during the recent Lunar New Year holiday, when it was snowing outside, I was able to have another conversation with my mother about death. I believe that facing death, which everyone will eventually experience, is the best way to understand life and uncover its secrets.

As a journalist for Hani Newspaper for 30 years, Cho Hyun has been active as a religious meditation specialist for 20 years. He has given lectures on enlightenment, meditation, psychology, and community at Seoul National University Hospital, a psychiatry group, YMCA, Plato Academy, Seoul City Hall, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. She has also led pilgrimage and healing groups to India and Tibet.
