Awesome videos man!!! Learning quite a lot with them! :D Just a quick question, do you know what those options do exactly (trimmer mode + rudder trimmer)? I mean, what is the difference in between this setup and default? Thank you and keep up the great content!!

Thanks! Glad the videos are helping. Rudder trimmer option: if checked, you can trim the rudder. In the real bird, you can't trim the rudder, so unchecked is more realistic. You may prefer unchecking it if you have pedals, but if you're using a twist grip, you're gonna want to check it. Trimmer mode: when you hit the trim button, you redefine the center position of your cyclic. Suppose you're pushing the stick 5 degrees forward of center, and you hit the trim button. Now center is 5 deg forward, and you've still got your stick deflected 5 deg, so you're actually pushing 5 + 5 = 10 degrees forward, so your nose will pitch down abruptly when you hit the trimmer. If you check this box, hitting the trimmer will cut off your stick and rudder inputs until you return both to their center position, and then you regain control. The trimmer will either cause you to overcontrol briefly, or lose control briefly, and this checkbox lets you pick which one you'd rather deal with. Personally, I prefer to lose control briefly. Once you get used to letting the stick snap back to center every time you hit the trimmer, it becomes very natural.

@@Viking355th Wow thank you very much for the quick and detailed response!!! Super clear!! I think I'm gonna use the same option as you, I was having this problem of having to press trim and let go the stick quickly otherwise it was doing a crazy pitch change as you described lol, that makes a ton of sense!! I'm gonna leave rudder trim off them because I'm using pedals :) Thank you so much! That was fantastic!
