You mean GE 414-G engines it could more expensive , the GNK-Saab Volvo RM-16 it can be alternative bringing Mach 1.8 for Kai KF-21 to the Mach , 1.9 FA-50PH BLK 20/50.

As far as i know, 2 seater pa rin ang FA-50 Block 20, pero yong NE ng FA-50 na F-50 e single seater at legit na MRF na hindi LCA, tulad ng FA-50 Block 20, although in plans pa pero isusunod na nila gain ito for alternative solution ng isang Cost effective solution MRF, na affordable, but still reliable and effective in any combat situations.

It should be fitted with triple ejection racks for air to surface missile or munitions.

That's the original plan actually, not only for the FA-50s but also for the chosen Multi-Role fighter. The FA-50, though classified as Light combat aircraft, can carry a total payload of more than 2500 kilograms. And it makes sense for this Aircraft to fully utilize its hard points in carrying more load by having triple ejector racks on it. Thanks for commenting.

KIA FA-50 blk 70 with Phantom Strike 500 AESA radar & Other avionic capabilities is good option @ $ 64./unit(Poland).This also have jamming ,counter jamming capability like all AESA radar. Jas 39c/d ms20 blk20.1 radar should be w/ Saab AESA 800 radar as superior to FA-50 blk70. & F16V blk 70 for total domain.

Phantom Strike 500 AESA radar It is a radar with very modest performance, and the price of the Indian aircraft LCA-MK1A does not exceed 40 million dollars. It has much higher capabilities than the FA-50 aircraft. The Indian aircraft has a radar, the best electronic warfare systems, the highest engine capacity, the highest speed, the ability to climb, the highest armament payload range, the greatest diversity of weapons, so it is a real fighter, and hence the price of the aircraft. The FA-50 is not competitive, and its performance is still mediocre. It still flies within the range of advanced training aircraft, but is not a true lethal weapon.

The newer Block 20 would cost more than the Block 10 series of the Philippine Air Force. When the Philippine Air Force acquired the FA-50s in 2014, it cost almost 19 Billion Pesos, about 1.6 Billion Pesos for each aircraft and we expect the Block 20 will cost more as enhancements are already there like the Aesa Radar, Mid-air refueling capability, and more upgraded avionics. If we follow Poland's acquisition of the FA-50s, each aircraft will cost almost 5 Billion per aircraft, it's still cheaper compared to having MRF, but Block 20 is LCA with a Mrf capability. Thanks for commenting on the video.

True! But KAI SoKor already made a perfect offer of 24 units of a much appealing up grades of Block 70 standard not the Block 20 standard and up grade the other 12 units to same standard the Block -70 standard up grade, so that the PAF can have an Up graded FA-50 Block 70 variant, at least 36 units in total. Then acquire the Gripen C/D MS20 variant plus full package deal and Tech. Transfer deal as well.
@bonscue2438
@bonscue2438 Год назад
@@MonkeyDZuki , from the presentation made by KAI in the Air Power Symposium, the variants of FA-50 were already re classified, the upgrades present before in the block 20 were now divided into three block variants which is the block 50, 60, and 70. Before all the upgrades were just included in a single block which is the block 20. We will have discussions regarding this in coming videos.

If we will follow the Malaysian Air Force acquisition of the FA-50, which is the most recent, Their 18 FA-50s will cost about 920 Million Dollars, thats 51 Million Dollars per aircraft. But the cost already includes the additional items needed for the aircraft and the spares to support it for a number of years.

can you please compare with FA-50Block 20 with Chinese J-10CE ?
@bonscue2438
@bonscue2438 7 месяцев назад
J10 only difference with the FA-50Block 20 is the powerplant, the J10s powerplant thrust is almost twice the FA50 powerplant thrust. This means more payload capacity, J10 can have a maximum take off weight of more than 19,000 Kgs, while the FA-50's can only carry more than 12,000 Kgs. But in electronic suite, the newer block of FA-50 is comparable to the J-10s. The block 20 has added electronic counter measures, the fighter already has a digital link system, but it will be for the operator to choose which digital link system they will install on the FA-50s. The Block 20 can already deploy beyond visual range missiles like the Amraam which is already comparable to the J-10s PL-15. Both aircraft has mid air refuelling capability, the only difference between the two, as I said earlier is the powerplant they used. But KAI decided to stick with the F-404 so the aircraft will have a compatibility with the other two variants of Golden Eagle, the T-50 and the TA-50 which also uses the F-404. Thanks for commenting.

@@khandakerrahman5012 the total deal for the 18 FA-50 Block 20 is about 920 Million Dollars, about 51 Million Dollars per aircraft, but this cost will also include the ILS or the integrated logistic support for the aircraft for a particular number of years. Thanks for commenting

When it would become the fact? Are we so close as it seems?
@bonscue2438
@bonscue2438 7 месяцев назад
Well, the dilemma for the Philippine government is choosing between having less quantity of Multi-Role fighter or use the budget they have in acquiring more units of the newer FA-50 block 20 which cost less than F-16 and Jas-39 Gripen. If the budget is sufficient, this project has been concluded years ago, but sadly, it's not only Paf that needs the AFP Modernization budget, there's also the needs from the Army and the Navy. The Fact is, Lockheed Martin, Saab, and KAI is doing their best to sway the project in their favor, and this has been what's happening for the last months.

@bonscue2438
@bonscue2438 7 месяцев назад
@@gromisawsosenkowski4392 this is the variant that Malaysia and Poland will be receiving, but the upgrades on those standard FA-50 block 10 to make it in a block 20 configuration will be done on those respective countries since they are the ones that will select the systems that will be installed on those fighters. This is the same process PAF did on their selected FA-50s in 2016, where some of those Golden Eagles were upgraded here in the country with the help of an Israeli defense company.

Tejas Mk1 is just a overated, overdue and delayed project of GOI and India's MoD😹😹😹😹 If Philippines buys it it'll be more pricier than FA50 and Jas39 Gripen around at $70~90 million each.... Tejas Mk1 is a unproven platform and no readily available parts like FA50 from South Korea.... But honestly South Korean are more reliable partner than India in ASEAN region..... India should approach ASEAN members with a great deal for common goal of protecting open seas against Chinese encroachment and bullying.... AFAIK right now India is playing fire with Russia and Western countries influence especially US to gain more western transfer of technology because they can't achieve breakthrough in their Kaveri jet engine 😹😹😹

With the MRF's, LCA's, and armed drones , is a perfect combination to do reconn missions, and use our LCA's as interceptors, and our MRF's as our main guns, while the Armed drones shall be the force multiplier especialy for aerial support.

Maybe in long term yes, but in 30yrs perspective traditional jets will be still main air power. Many countries bought recently F-35, F-16, Raffale, JAS39 Gripen, South Korea is developing KF-21 and they plan this to be in use for minimum 30-40 years. And this decisions were made by people more competent than you. So you are probably wrong.

@@MonkeyDZuki the incoming trend for the combat aircraft is a manned aircraft with support from a group of unmanned units. One example is the "Loyal Wingman" of Lockheed Martin that is connected digitally with the F-35. There is the case that decision making by should will be made by a pilot, that is on the field, while the unmanned vehicles will do the dangerous type of task that is dangerous for a manned aircraft.
