Well i played this game just now for the first time and i'm 23, and even to me it was a surprise. I did thought she was weird, and she asked a bit too much about Nico, but i thought she was just suspicious that he was a criminal and thought she was as well. So she was just trying to bond on that or something, when i found out she was a cop i felt betrayed like hell.

Even something as simple as her complimenting Niko when he wears the same clothes. Implying that she bugged them and that she doesn't want him to change his wardrobe. Spiking his drink and then asking him questions was something I hadn't heard in my game until now. That was kind of cool, and messed up.

man, apart from her undercover personality, she and niko would've been a great pair. I just couldn't feel it with Kate. everytime after this reveal, whenever I passed by "michelle's" house, I just felt sad. felt like a real break up lol edit: yes Kate was the genuine one and Niko liked her too so it doesn't matter what I think really lol.

Kate was her third girlfriend and she died. How Much a Person Can Move On? Look at Max Payne, whose Wife died then Girlfriend died and since then he is alone. I really respect Pagan Min for that, after his girlfriend left him, he never got a Second one.

That's her character arc. She betrayed the only person who loved her and now she's a husk of her former self. Deep down she hurts and it shows. She takes it out on people, anyone, innocent, guilty, suspicious, etc. She loved Nico and had to dump him in the worst possible way.

Through interaction with severa military personnel I came to know that they always observe the small things.... Like Niko Bellec observing everything in the room is new. Nobody usually cares anything else than what a woman is wearing especially when it's a first date. He spotted stuff as odd right from the get go. Little things like this is what makes this game really amazing

@Tolga Öztürk basically rockstar planned to have a Sex minigame in SA that you would play after you accepted getting in for a "coffee" with one of your 6 girlfriends... the problem is since adult games were more restrict to younger people, that sex minigame would make GTA SA get tag 18 instead of 16, like every gta that came before, making it sell less due to Stores being more restrictive with adult games, so they cut it, the problem is, they didn't delete the Sex minigame from the game, they just locked it so no one could access it ingame, but a Hacker managed to find out this minigame, activate it, and turn it into a MOD for the GTA SA, and boy, that caused A LOT of trouble for rockstar, making they remove the 1 version of the game from stores, which made them lose A LOT of money with the sales, they got a lawsuit, and had to pay over 26 MILLION dollars, and basically they had to re-release their game, this time with the Hot coffe minigame fully deleted. nowadays it's just a huge meme, but boy on that time... it was Rockstar's worst nightmare... i guess that's why they don't like the modding community that much... but ye, lessons were learned about making sex games on your game...

@@SOSOLRAK except she felt more humane, calm, sweet, and didn't feel like she actually chose to betray Niko because she was an entirely evil person like Dimitri Rascalov, but because it's her job and she really didn't have any other choice. you can see how hard it was for her to be in that situation when she decides to tell the truth that she was working for the government the whole time, she knew there was no perfect time to confess her secret. in gta V, she felt like a completely different Person. I prefer Michelle in GTA IV more than Karen in GTA V.

Better writing, physics, police system (something's gta v did better but still.), shooting, characters and for me a really fun online for what it was back then, endless fun. Gta v is just not as good. Dont get me wrong gta v was awesome but it didn't hit like gta iv did, it was downgraded for a bigger open world and three characters, in my opinion not as cool as previous gta characters especially CJ although I really like Niko

Karen did love Nico, and she got her "life" back but 5 years later she's a husk of herself, a hardened government pawn doing dirty work. She won't have kids, close friends, or even someone to listen to her at the end of the day, yet this is the life she betrayed her lover for. This is why GTA V sucked, we see characters we bonded with like Packie and Karen become shadows of their former selves. In the end Nico's name (meaning Victory) makes a lot of sense, he's no longer in that life, he played the game and won. Something Karen and Packie can't say.

My cousin was pissed off when I told him Karen Daniels "Michelle" was the undercover government agent who Niko Bellic should've have ended her existence. But of course Rockstar Games wouldn't allow the player to make Niko Bellic kill Karen Daniels, because of Grand Theft Auto canon continuity plot doesn't call for it unfortunately.

Dude I won't lie, fucking R* made me fall in love with her and shattered my heart when they revealed her true character. Michelle was like the perfect girl... So sweet and nice and caring, and so cute. But fucking Karen...... R* really made me invest myself in a virtual character and then broke my heart I guess that's a well executed story... And awesome editing by you as usual... Still boggles my mind how you keep track of all the instances where she was mentioned... Great job!!

She was weird because she didn’t tell anything about herself. She pretended to be that boring mid west girl that has no friends in NYC/LC. Remember the first bowling mission where the price tags were still on the furniture in her apartment. Little Details that gave it away. She also seemed to be too good to be true because she was immediately interested in Nico who just came “fresh off the boat”. She did never complain and was too loyal and there is no back story. I wasn’t really surprised when she turned out to be a IAA/CIA agent.

I can’t believe it’s been over 7 years since I played gta4 yet it still feels so fresh in my head. I remember how bugged I was getting used to the new graphics and gunfire sounds. Sometimes i get confused about what was in 4 or 5, and recall setting up on top of a building and sniping tourists who went for the heli-tours over by the piers.
