I think it's tragic how Karen started out being forced to work for the IAA to "get her life back", but in GTA 5 we see she opted to keep working for them even after finishing their deal. Now, she's every bit as cold and and merciless as all the other IAA goons.

During the conversation of the "poor", comparing Mallorie's life to Niko's, I was damn near hoping Niko would discus his childhood of "not having electricity until he was 12", that is usally a good show stopper.

The first time I played this game, I remember going to the Strip Club after I found out she was a cop and was only toying with me from the start.

I feel bad for Karen. She seemed to genuinely fall in love with Niko. She probably could never let go, and never found another man. Possibly why she's so bitter and angry in GTA V

I feel like their relationship didn't develop at all. It feels like neither him or her developed feelings for each other, which is a shame because their exchange in Snow Storm implied something existed between them.

Karen always asked about crooks and where they hanged out, what Niko did for a living, asking the occasional question that the average person wouldn't know (e.g deducing that Niko was in the war even though he almost never mentioned it to her, already knowing that Elizabeta was a coke dealer even tho she told Niko she didn't know where to find coke). She acts like she's been living in Liberty City longer than Niko, and yet she allegedly doesn't know as much ppl as Niko does even tho he just moved there. The brand new furniture, the fact that she was never drunk around him... Sooooo many signs and yet she still had me fooled when I first played this game 😂😔

Would've been better if the storyline followed a romance between her and Niko rather than with Kate. That would've been a lot more interesting to see.

To be fair about that she's obviously a cop and Niko should had noticed. This is very early in the game when he's still getting accostume to America shallowness and way to interact with other people. Michelle actually played things very well considering the little to nothing she knew about Niko, implying that she's a good judge of character and did this many times before. Honestly those small details that really don't need to be explain is why i still consider gta 4 as the best rockstar game in terms of writting.

Out of ALL the characters in the GTA franchise, she is the one I HATE the most. That is not an exaggeration. I hate her fucking guts. It's bad enough what she did to Niko, but in GTA 5 where she's torturing Mr. K with a flashlight...gah! And what's worse is that Rockstar TEASES us. See, many GTA 4 characters show up in the fifth game and you have the option of killing them (except Johnny, because Trevor kills him in a cut scene) But not Michelle! She gets away. You can't even kill her in the new heists. It's like they're saying, "we know you wanna killer her, but too bad." Out of GTA 5's antagonists, I hated Michelle more than Steve Haines and Devin Weston COMBINED. I swear, if RS doesn't let us put this bitch in the ground in GTA 6, I'm gonna have a shit attack.

Rockstar is so good at betrayal stories, I never expected people like Michelle or big smoke to betray the main characters because all the times they acted sus they were still in character.

Honestly, Michelle/Karen is about the only thing in this game I take issue with. Not because of her character, but because of the prospect of the government spying on Niko. She was introduced way too early in the game for that to make sense. Niko didn't even get involved with Vlad yet, when they first met and went on a First Date. And yet the government already sent Michelle to spy on Niko, when he has done absolutely nothing? This is a really glaring plothole, that I just cannot unsee.
