If Kari did her job and JUST her job from the start, none of this would've happened. From the HGR case she was unprofessional, refused to act like an adult, and the judge gave her almost the whole rope. She decided to hang herself with it in the Baldwin case, and frankly I'm SHOCKED that she's not being sanctioned yet.

I'm very neurodivergent. I want to explain my point of view when I feel misunderstood very badly. But I'm nowhere near to Kari Morrissey want to explain. It feels like she is very invested and treat it to personally.
It doesn’t make a difference if she had a good argument about the dismissal. She had to make it before the dismissal. Once it’s dismissed with prejudice you are too late. And in this pile of 💩there are no legal citations saying why she can bring this filing.
The really sad thing about this stupid motion, is that I was still partially on her side before this. When this went down at the trial my opinion was that I didn't think the state had necessarily hidden anything intentionally and I also agreed that the rounds were likely irrelevant to Baldwins case. That said, I was fully in agreement that dismissal was the appropriate outcome. Someone made a mistake and Baldwin benefitted from that, sucks if you believe he's guilty but humans are fallible and it is what it is. I thought her choice to testify was odd and risky, but the cameras were on and I figured she wanted to explain to the internet that she wasn't trying to do something nefarious (and I still believe if the state was trying to hide evidence to harm his case they'd have hidden something far more significant than rounds that were never on the set). At this point, the case has been dismissed with prejudice. Even if she disagreed with that, what law is she relying on to be able to file anything at all to try and 'un-prejudice" it? Even if her motion was packed to the brim with great law and reasoning that the case shouldn't have been dismissed, it was and that means it's dead, do not pass go, do not collect £200...
I think Kari made this thing extremely long and detailed because she knew everyone like us, would go through it, in detail, and get her side of the story out there, en mass. And, it worked. Here we all are. However, it didn't change any of our minds. She just wanted to waste everyone's time. It's the only power play she had left. Bless her heart.

The thing that makes me upset about this case is it doesn't matter to Baldwins guilt/innocence who brought the ammo on site. No one ever even suggested it was him The case against him, IMHO, was always was he negligent in handling the weapon. So WHY keep this evidence back? It might, maybe have matter in the case against Hannah. So this was self sabotage for nothing. Literally blew her case up for no gain at all.
How long would it take to bring the jury in and question each individually as to their verdict (somehting the juidge COULD have done before releasing the jurors) ? Seems like a one hour proceeding and one day's jury pay would do it.
FOCUS: I too remember second by second my wedding to the cutest little gal who ever came off the North Dakota Prairie. God how I do miss my lovely wife, she passed away 4 years ago just 4 days after our 51st wedding anniversary, the first anniversary that I was unable to make love to my lovely lady as she lay in a hospital bed barley holding on as cancer wracked her body, and ate the very stomach that could have sustained her life. I held her hand for several minutes trying to will some of my energy to her dead body but alas it was not to be. I did not know that as this was happening cancer was eating at my right kidney which would be removed a year later. Cancer is cruel but such memories sustain us even after such a great loss.

1974 I was serving with HQ Troop 2/3 Armored Cav at Fort Bliss Texas, Company A, one of our sub units had a company commander who was very strict on Mustaches, he required them trimmed so no part passed the end of the lips on the face. This had the unintended consequence of many of the troopers with Company A having mustaches like Hitlers. After a few months the Commander relented, the Col from HQ inspected his unit and was incensed at the lines of troopers many with Hitler Staches, the next day none of Company A had a mustache. When they grew back handle bar mustaches were proudly worn in Company A, they also had a new Captain in charge as the Company Commander, the former was transferred to Germany, a nation where such mustaches were frowned upon, in fact I think back then you could go to jail for such things.

Has everyone forgotten that Seth Kenney had/has other legal cases against him? Ones involving him most probably stealing firearms from previous employer(s). How he was not investigated thoroughly in the beginning *and* everything he said was just automatically believed by law enforcement and Kari is beyond me!!!

There’ll be 25 “yeah but that’s not relevant” excuses and then one or two “okay that’s a thought”s in there. She got caught breaking the rules, and since when should the prosecution base whether they collect the information, based on a text exchange with a witness who could in fact be a suspect. Once he came in and handed over the evidence, at that immediate point, anyone with a brain involved in the case would know the significance of those rounds > 0. It’s not her freaking place to guess at whether defence could find any use for it, what a joke.

If prosecution just says ok we will only charge on count 2, you don’t have to go through the appeal process, doesn’t that mean the prosecutors could still bring charges until the statute of limitations would end?

OH WOW man I just woke up!! My daughter put my old photo album filled with the photos I took with my old Yashika Electo-35 35mm camera when I was in Vietnam. Some great photos there, the damn spot checkers in Long Bien on my way home opened thee Camera with a film in it, screwed up some of my going home shots, and pulled the film out of the canisters in my bag and exposed all my old pics that I never had developed over there, some great shit gone again, but I do have some good stuff, been years since I looked at them. Been through Canada twice. Once to move to Alaska. And once to move back to Michigan. There are only 2 places I hated. Saskatoon, and Moose Jaw Saskatoon we stopped at a McDonald's. Waited an hour to order. While waiting, they kept handing out orders, and they were all wrong. This was 2000. Moose Jaw, we stayed at the only open hotel. It was a business hotel that offered "high speed internet" in 2008. We got to our room, my mom sat on the corner of the bed and it CRUNCHED. There were tortilla chips ON THE BED. Oh and there was no wifi. Their high speed internet was dial up. To be fair, Yanetti and Jackson still have a case ongoing, and their appeal is what's expected of them to do, even if there's a 0.001% chance of it doing anything. So if they were to quit anything they're doing, they'd be failing their client. Morrissey on the other hand has no case, and is trying to revive a case that was dismissed with prejudice by throwing all the spaghetti at the wall in the hopes some will stick. Except she forgot to cook, so it's just dry stiff spaghetti bouncing off the wall. So if she did take a page out of their book, I think she's got the wrong genre.
Aren't there other cases she can take and destroy as well? Like why keep on Baldwin when there other cases out there still ongoing and not dismissed with prejudice?

I think that they knew about them, but not what they may have or how similar they were. Also, I don’t believe the defense is under the same responsibility of disclosure that the prosecution is compelled to follow. Found it interesting that she backed up nothing she said with actual law, for over 50 pages.

Years ago just 26 miles from here, three young men under 18 were having a drinking party. Another fellow dropped in and when the three told him he was to go buy some more booze, he said no, so the three, who were pretty much stewed beat the 4th to death, then decided to cover it up. So they loaded the body in the back of a pickup truck and headed for a neighboring State, some 8 miles South of town, after crossing the State Line, they thought they heard noise in the back of the pickup so stopped on the side of the road where they beat the fellow with a tire iron (after crossing the State Line) then continued to a near by lake where again to make sure he was dead, they took a rifle and shot the kid in the head before dumping his body in the lake. They were caught and like the idiots they were they quickly turned on each other. The trial was held in the State where the first beating was done. By the time it was over the County was bankrupt and needed to be bailed out by the State. The boys were convicted as adults and are still in Prison after over 20 years have gone by.
I always want to watch a Runkle stream because I enjoy hearing his thoughts/opinions/arguments. But, invariably, his chat does something to remind me how toxic they are.
