I just miss the guy in general. He's a comic genius and a loss to British comedy. He's convinced people he's thick but the guy is an instinctively funny guy with perfect comic timing and lightning wit.
Karl pilkington is one of only a couple people that can crack me up in any situation. Doesn't matter what he's doing, doesn't need any context, nothing.
Karl is a highly intelligent person because his way of thinking and his level of realness is something you will struggle to find in this world. Truly a great man!

You could say Karl is too simple and uninformed for today's standards, but I would not say he is a genuine idiot. He had learnt everything he considered to be of practical use, and left everything else out, which is kind of smart in a way. I'd rather consider him an eccentric than an underdeveloped individual. He is too highly opinionated about the things he does not know(giving zero fucks and having absolutely no fear or shame to express them) though, but that accidentally funny personality of his made him a naturally born comedian and got him loads of money, so being ignorant paid off in his case. xD

no, it's beyond banter.. it's cruel after they keep on at the same things when Karl isn't giving it back.. maybe saying once or twice about his head would be considered banter but to laugh so hard at him when they say it, and then to relentlessly Keep saying it and mocking him relentlessly and again laughing REALLY hard at him.. that takes it into the realm of abuse
I don't think Karl actually liked Ricky that much i think he became friends with him because he would help his career, now he doesn't need him no longer speak, can't be coincidence I love Karl by the way, can't get enough of him
Their relationship was toxic. It wasnt until I listened to the full uncut podcasts, not Hbo cartoon ones, is when I realized what a bully and jerk Ricky was to Karl. The amount of times he outright called him stupid, dumb, empty headed etc. It was obvious to me that Karl put up with it because of the money, carreer as you said, he would just let those really ugly insults fly and do his thing still. Steve would join in sometimes but far less than Ricky plus Steve woild often times shut Ricky down to hear more from Karl also Karl did have a go at Steve's looks any chance he got so I think it was balanced from both sides. But Ricky... Changed my view of him.

@@DlcEnergy You know I am like 15 years late? lmao I only seen full podcasts recently(and like what am I to do anyway lol).I I watched HBO cartoon ones and lo and behold none of the really bad insults were there hmm I wonder why... As I said Steve and him went back and forth and it was more playful. Not once did Karl insult Ricky in any way. He accepted the insults because he was making money. I used the word bully becuase thats the best way to describe it, when somebody puts someone down constantly, of course he isnt a child he is a grown man that weighed pros and cons and once he made enough money he went his own way. From what I understand they havent spoken since Derek but Karl did stay in touch with Steve and did Steve's podcast too. That tells you everything. I saw video of Ricky recently saying he has no mates and he used to say Karl is the funniest man(and his mate) alive but then also in recent years he started saying its one of his relations I forgot who. Point is Karl never considered Ricky a mate yet people keep pushing that narrative that they were and are, it was purely business decision on Karl's end, he pretended to be much dumber than he actually is, in fact I would call him very clever, he is only academically lacking but not dumb at all.
Yeah, but Karl who's not too brainey would be lost without support from The Ant-bullyung Campaigners so I think that Ricky and Steve deserves more creditvthan they've got!
