Like the time on "The moaning of life" when he's talking about Spiderman and how every fight he gets in, buildings and other things are always getting destroyed..." And he goes on to say how much of a nuisance he'd be "cause the council tax would go up, wouldn't it!"😂😂

You know something tells me Ricky would be unable to live a truly happy life without Karl making him laugh histerically. Just look at his face it's like he treasures every single word that comes out of Karl's mouth.
@Jesus in a Suit you forget that even though they are business partners and making money they are still friends. The only reason the Rickey gervais show isnt continued is because it wouldn't be the same as the first 3 seasons and they got burned out. If Rickey just wanted to make more money off karl (which is bollocks) they'd still be doing it
It’s not just what he says that makes me laugh, but also the timing and the way he phrases it. “You’d be surprised” is so simple and so elegantly hilarious. This man is accidentally a master of delivery
This man should be treasured for eternity. The glee on Gervais’ face as Karl goes on these mini rants says it all. I’d do anything for them two (and Merchant) to work together again!
@@Martin-88 it’s slang, no big deal. Keeps language fun and interesting, it’s a sign of a healthy youth culture. Don’t worry, people still use formal English in court and in more buttoned-up professions etc.
this is one of the best jokes i have heard in a while. great bit. i know he means it, but that line about if it’s so great how come the fish would rather live in me knob is a great line.
U can tell Ricky really does like Karl! This show was so underrated; it’s a shame they sacked it. Watching Karl get wound up over fictional scenarios and fish wanting to live in his knob is just hysterical
When I watched an idiot abroad, jungle episode, back in 2012, I literally rolled on the living room floor laughing. No other tv show has ever done that to me before or after. Pure genius 🤣
Even a lot of Ricky's jokes, standup material and even stuff on Office/Extras was directly inspired by the things Karl Pilkington has said. Ricky is hilarious without them but theres no denying how much of an influence Karl has been on his material.
I've been in the Amazon at night.....it's actually quite nice...... First off you need a hammock with sewn in bug net so you don't sleep on the ground with the ants and spiders.....then you put a tarp over and you can stay dry in a hard storm. Put up two stakes and hang your boots upside down on the stakes to keep the ants and scorpions out. I used Crocs put under my hammock for night trips to pee.......shake them out before putting them on your feet. The jungle is really awesome if you work with it and not against it. Such a beautiful place.
There are bullies in the world, that's just a fact and so it doesn't bother me so much, what does concern and disappointment me is the fact I (and so many others) enjoy watching...
