having the same jockey wheel one thing ive noticed no one seems to mention is the fact unlike standard jockey wheels this one is ratcheted meaning its very unlikely going to drop the wheel when driving , to be honest im glad I bought one

Great review Oliver, we have the standard jockey wheel on our caravan which is a total pain in the backside, as the storage site is all gravel, I'll be changing our very soon. Best wishes Jon

Nice review Oliver. If I ever need to replace our Jockey wheel that certainly looks like the one to get. Not sure the added benefits of the rubberised wheel warrant discarding our existing one yet though. It does look exceedingly well made though. Thanks for sharing the info.

Cheers Neil! I can see yes it’s £39.99 so yours looks ok. The only reason I am keeping it on as our driveway is gravel and it’s easier with this one. Cheers Oliver

Hello Oliver thank you for your review which I know was a year ago. However you state it cost £39.99 , but it now seems to cost £56.70 from the CMHC. However I have found a dealer called Wilmond Engineering selling Kartt jockey wheels with Turn-lock for £40.00, and was wondering if this is the same as yours, as Kartt seem to make several different designs and it is a job to know which one is which?

May I ask what makes the Kartt wheel "ten times better" than the Alko one - you did mention that your Alko one you had also had a rubber tyre on it, so I am puzzled why it makes such a massive difference? You say that the Kartt one "doesn't rip up the drive" because it has a rubberised tyre, but at the start you said the Alko one also has a rubberised tyre. #confused

Great review, worked really well on your drive. I used ours for the first time on our drive today. Got caravan in position first time. With the original plastic one I had to go back and forwards about 4 times, that's all due to the Kartt wheel not skipping on our gravel. It's much better as you said. Graham

Cheers Graham. Yes its much easier. Getting you caravan back where it is is more dfifficults then getting it out and it perfromed perfectly. Be careful of someone called Mike Jordan who seems to have a thing about we need to declare them as add's... so i blocked him so just be careful! Cheers Oliver

Don’t worry about it Olly - you clearly state it’s been given to you and you show it being installed and used. It’s up to people to use common sense to work out of its for them or not. Do gooders like this have no common sense nor the ability to make their own mind up apparently need to be told everything...

You can buy the wheels on there own from internet for less than a tenner. Steel wheel and rubber tyre so why change the lot for £40

It’s worth £40 as it’s well made. Why not you make that jockey wheel and make a video and spend 10 hours editing. If you don’t like the product, then don’t watch the video.
