Unfortunately they are dying out due to uk emissions and people preferring liter bikes when it comes to SuperSports. Plus, they build these bikes so well, the used 600cc class supersport market is huge and because of that the new bike market is negatively affected
I think the future for the 600cc class are bikes like the aprillia 660r and the Yamaha r7, good low end power and more street oriented ergonomics , sadly the Kawasaki zx6r is probably gonna be the last true 600cc bike on the market
I too was a invisible. Then I scored this 2005 Honda Civic. We're talking cherry. Sawed off the exhaust. Now I'm cruising the hood in this insanely loud supercar - brutal. The ladies are taking notice. sick
Noob question here. I got my first 600 mile service done at the dealership and I SWEAR my bike is SLOWER now. I start to see the yellow light flashing high in the revs in 6th gear going like 140MPH! I thought this bike was supposed to do 165/170mph but mine can only get to about 150mph... I swore the bike was faster and i pushed it to 160+ RIGHT before my first service. I tried checking the oil after the service and although i was on a hill when i put the bike on paddock stands, it felt like they overfilled the oil by like 1/3rd of a quart. I drained a little bit out and have now kept running the bike but it's still slower :/ is it possible they overfilled and clogged my oil filter or airbox? Help!
Could be that the dealership put in a heavier weight oil. The difference from a 10-40 to a 20-50 for example can be quite noticeable. Maybe ask what oil was used at your first service, and if you do feel a decrease in power, drain whatever they put in your bike and pour in some full synthetic 10-40 or lighter weight oil depending on your climate.
I got my 1st service done on the bike at 600 miles, and the bike is now slower😡. Can anyone explain what might have happened? I see the warning indicator now flashing on the tachometer at 145mph in 6th gear while here it's more like 165mph... I have no idea what they did to my bike
His bike probably has different sprockets than stock. Stock gets to 261kmh/162mph tacho as proven in many vids. Yours shouldnt be much slower than that however he was going downhill maybe youre always going uphill. ;)
