We love exploring new areas while Kayak Fishing, but sometimes it can be a struggle fishing in unfamiliar waters. We took a gamble, woke up early, caught a ferry, and traveled to a neighboring island in search of Lingcod. It took all day, but the gamble finally paid off!

That descending rod is cool but how does it release the fish once it’s down ??

It's pressure activated so once it reaches the depth that you set it to the clamp opens up and the fish is free! Makes sending the fish back down super easy!

What an athlete! Lol 😂 the scenery is far different than what I see. Taking a ferry over there is not a bad idea save the legs a bunch im sure. I know when we go out round-trip we put in about eight and a half miles... 🎣🚣‍♂️🇺🇲🫶🇨🇦🎣🚣‍♂️
