► 90 Days Of Kettlebells - bit.ly/90days-of-kettlebells The kettlebell world offers many different approaches, techniques and styles. We believe that the most dominant styles are Hardstyle & Kettlebell Sport. Recently, there’s a new style emerging that combines the best of both worlds: The Hybrids. This training philosophy borrows from both styles and creates a somewhat unique perspective on technique and exercises. The kettlebell clean for example is a ballistic exercises, that demonstrates well how these different approaches can merge into one and create a different execution of one of staple exercises of kettlebell training. - Gregory
love the vids man, i feel like this channel should be much bigger, that just shows that people dont no what true strength is, also a big fan of the kettlebell the only piece of equipment i use
what helps me in my cleans are two things - first, thumb down when the KB is under the body, it makes the cleans significantly better. the second thing is learning how to use the hips to "jump" the KB up.
Der Körper teilt einem schon mit, was gut tut. Den Swing und Clean praktiziere ich zwischenzeitlich nach dem Hardstyle und Snatch, Jerk etc. nach dem Softstyle. Die Kombination macht es.
So cool how you also swing your body, I never saw that!!! Why is that so? I also learned recently from another trainer that putting the kettlebell on an angle pointing towards the heel on the floor before cleaning. Great video and tips 🤩🙏🏼
Love this. I've been using kettlebells for about 4 months now and have noticed the very same situation in my workouts. I practice primarily hardstyle but have found myself in the same situation as your example: taxed by transitions and not having quite as much energy to focus on the main grind of a complex. Love your account/content - keep it up! Can I request you react/review to a Marcus Filly video? He has been a great resource ('5 kettlebell foundations' video) and I see a lot of things that I feel you would relate to with his training. I also see some things (former crossfit athlete, functional bodybuilding, nutrition) that make me curious what the people at Lebe Stark would have to say!
Gregory, I would like to get into the kettlebell. I'm a 40 yr old man with weak shoulders. Which style should i use and do u have a mobility program? Or do your 30 and 90 day programs do that?
Hey Njal. Start with mobilization of the body; then follow a simple workout routine with light weights to start. If you need proper guidance for this, consider 30 or 90 Days Of Kettlebells: academy.lebestark.ch/courses/90daysofkettlebells - Gregory
Sport = pendulum swing/double knee bend, more endurance Hard style = high tension, almost all hinge and no knee bend, more power driven Hybrid = mix of the two 🙂
Chris shared it almost perfectly; I hope this helps Derek. To be totally exact: the Hardstyle Swing does come with some knee bent (very similar to the deadlift); especially if you go heavier. The Hybrid is full engagement of the hip hinge; with no bent knees and like Chris mentioned, a mixture of the Sport & HS in terms of application of power. - Gregory
