I'm curious what level of maximal strength does long cycle develop as compared to say strength training with barbells? Is the benefit just endurance or does it give plenty of strength development where you don't feel the need or desire to add barbells to your training?
Really great video, totally loved it Joe. I think I said it in another video of yours that I made a mistake and bought two 24s (I know, big ego). Now I bought two 16s and it’s a different story. It’s all right but I still feel that my clean with the heavier weights (24s) are clumsy af. Is this strength related? Cleans with 16s are absolutely fine. I have no idea how to improve this and it’s like I have everything in my head fine but when it comes to execution it’s messed up.
I noticed that you are wearing a powerlifting belt, without the front taper, normally seen in competition kettlebell lifting. Do you find that this type of belt is better, or just something that fits you better.
Youre right but I tend to train WITHOUT chalk during training then add it in competition for extra boost. Unless its too humid then I have to use it. But yes I dont use it all the time. Same as lifting shoes or other gear. I have to be able to use some challenges.
Can do all moves with a 20kg kb ..(single +double)..but sruggle do clean andpress (cant even lpress properly ) only swings aquats and deadlif with32kg.. should i abandon all together or stick to lower kgs for snatches and Turkish get up etc@admib
"I do what I can and that's all that matters." Class act bro. I got into kettlebells and fatbells among other things last year. Just happened upon your channel in the past week. Great instruction.
