SPOILERS For Genshin Impact 3.6: Nahida’s Story Quest II and the world quest Khvarena of Good and Evil. Be prepared for some high-octane tinfoil hat theory.
“The first Divine Halberd, Irmin, once pierced the Axis Mundi and connected the nine worlds.”
Wooo boy did 3.6 give us some lore to FEAST on. Primordial One, Seven Sovereigns, Celestial Nails, Khaenri’ah and the Cataclysm... You name it.
I’m still sifting through and processing a lot of things, but I wanted to talk about Dahri / Khaenri’ah, and what prompted the great disaster 500 years ago. What exactly is the Sign of Apaosha? What does it mean that Khaenri’ah connected to realms beyond? Evolution has been a recurring theme, but what does it mean for the primordial elemental creatures of the Light Realm? How much can vishaps or dragons evolve, and is there a way they could have created a society focused on innovation and usurping the gods? Are Khaenri'ahns vishap-people??? And what about the Abyss and Void Realm? Oh yeah and I obviously talk about Irmin and Forbidden Knowledge a lil bit.
DISCLAIMER: Lots of speculation and I try my best with pronunciation. There’s a LOT I didn’t cover, but stay tuned. Also, ya’ll I think I’ve finally figured out how to do audio right. Please clap.

The theory that Teyvat is actually upside down is not a new theory. But it is starting to really make sense. If Teyvat is upside down, then the sky isnt the sky, which is why we heard about the false sky. Then if the abyss is supposed to be below teyvat, but teyvat is upside down, then its logically in the false sky. And thats why we see stars when we see things that are associated with the abyss, why they say "Ad astra et abyssoque"(to the stars and the abyss), and why the twins got associated with the abyss. Maybe the false sky tries to mirror the real sky, and that is why Astrologers need water in order to mirror the sky back to its original place. Maybe thats part of why Hydro and its archon is about truth and justice...Because its a mirror that reflects the truth. Direction is something that is incredibly important in a ton of old beliefs, myths, legends and even in tarot. Up is associated with good, and down is bad, but direction is also something arbitrary which we only get an idea for if we have a fixed point. But direction also point out something odd about the Heavenly Principles... Where is it from and what is it? We have three locations. Light realm, Abyss, and Teyvat. But it dont seem to have come from either one. If it was from the light realm, why is it fighting against the Vishaps? Why is it able to curse things? If its from Teyvat, why is it called the 1st descender? If its from the Abyss, why is it trying to purify abyssal power and incompatible with the abyss? I think that means, there is a 4th world that is hidden in all this...and it might make sense since it also created 4 shades... one shade for each world.... I however do not think that the Khaenriahns are actually vishap people. It dont seem quite right that Enjou would speak like that when the Abyss Order was "founded" by Khaenriahns...he would have known what they are...Khaenriah was called the original land of humans in Teyvat...so that might mean, that Khaenriahns are original humans, the civilization older than even Byakokoku...But I think Dain said that the Enkanomiyan type of ruins was similar to Khaenriah but older? That probably means that any ruins that used to be in Khaenriah was completely wiped out and they had to rebuild everything completely when they resettled that area... Just what on earth happened in the prehistory?

We also go upward instead of downwards when clearing floors of the "Spiral Abyss". So... Yeah. Just another argument for the Abyss being the "false sky".

first part of your theory really makes a lot of sense. although about khaenrains not being vishap people... so starting from the beginning, the heavenly principle came from beyond so likely from none of the three realms we know of and no realm directly connected to teyvat. in honkai they play around with the idea of differen universses etc, and honkai games have been known to not be offiacially connected but definetly heavely connected. it would make sense for genshin to have its lore somewhat tie in with the other games as well. so likely there are infintely different realm/ universes. now before someone from beyond came to take over teyvat the original inhabitants where vishaps/dragons and the heavenly principles even built their new order on the stolen authority of those inhabitants. in the sun and moon book there are even line alluding to there being a whole civilization ( who had to submit) before the heavenly principles created the human realm with humans and all the other stuff the made( the line reads :" The Seven Sovereigns were vanquished, and the seven nations submitted to the heavens." so there were seven whole nations before humans were even created..?). well who would these people/nations be made up of if not vishaps/ dragons? and wouldnt taht make them the original humans of teyvat? also in fontaine there a quest with a melusine named phasiv who obviously is implied to be a vishap ( their name backwards is literally vishap , they look like a vishap and coincidentally during the time they shortly dissapear a vishap comes to help traveler out in a fight ..? come on ) so the evolutionary capabalites of vishaps are likely proven. anyways i thought that fit into your theory and cleared the last part up a bit

So we know that Khaenri'ah basically used all their machines to fight some "dark monsters" which are Abyssal ones as it seems. No mentions of any operations about Celestia, only those monsters. We earlier had a theory that Khaenri'ah decided to rebel against Celestia, but seems like it' not really the case. Also I don't get Heavenly Principles logic (or Celestia logic) - after Cataclysm they allowed Order of the Abyss to be formed, somehow via Sustainer probably "assigned" our twin to be it's leader and do nothing. Plus, during scene of Khaenri'ah fall we never saw Skyfrost nail, only Sustainer's ability of red cubes, while from Apep's quest we know that whenever something involves forbidden knowledge of Abyss happens, Celestia sends those nails to purify Abyssal corruption. So, if no nail was sent and instead they used Sustainer, what kind of a threat could happen in this city itself? Plus we don't know if Sustainer is capable of cleansing Abyssal corruption, so sending her just to "smite people" without fighting corruption is weird
@roozeveltfox

This is actually on to something I've been stewing on for a while, but don't even know how to put into words. We DO have some evidence that Khaenri'ah tried to rebel, but unless my brain is just forgetting some lore, it's literally ONLY SUGGESTED by Dain. And in terms of punishment (edit: for clarification, of Khaenri'ah) we also only hear about that from Dain and Clothar, who have memory issues and were going insane, respectively. Unless, like I said, I've just... missed or forgotten something big. Soooo I've been wondering for a while WHY Celestia is so excluded from the Cataclysm narrative in general. (curse you Zhongli and your contracts) And regarding the Sustainer cubes - true, those also seem unique to the cataclysm. It MAY be suggested around the Chasm Nail with the cubic rocks? But even that is speculative, and also Dragonspine and even the other areas potentially hit by a nail (Tsurumi or somewhere else in Inazuma, or like literally anywhere in the Sumeru desert) - 0 cubes. Yeah I agree it's super weird. A topic that's on my mind but I have no answer for. Interesting we've gotten so many lore dumps recently but actually nothing on the Sustainer since forever. Weird.

Considering the line "keeper is fading away" from Traveler Character Details where in CN for the keeper and Sustainer (from the title Sustainer of HP) used the same characters, I think Sustainer doesn't feel good after Cataclysm. We may even need to save her from corruption of forbidden knowledge in the future.

@@roozeveltfox This is really getting into the Cataclysm time line. And both quests (Nahida's 2nd story and the world quest) really complicate the time line by having the Dendro Archon (whether that's considered Nahida or Rukkhadevata) performing two new acts during the time line of the Cataclysm, namely creating the fire seed mcguffin and creating the giant tree stump. From Ei's story the summons of the seven Archons seems to occur late in the time line of the Cataclysm (because Makoto and Ei have to leave Inazuma after the wave of Dev has begun and is still being fought, leaving the Inazuman soldiers to feel abandoned), but the Dendro Archon either gets youthed (Nahida) or dies (Rukkhadevata) as a result of the summons, so how do they get back and help create giant tree stump if that happens after the wave of Dev are defeated (perhaps I'm reading that part wrong)? It kinda feels like the archon involvement (and hence Celestia involvement) is late in the order of events, but then why do all the Khaenri'ahns blame "the gods" if they got wiped out by the Abyss first (and that at least partially their own fault presumably)? Dain suggests there was a single day when most of it went down. I don't get a rebellion vibe from Khaenri'ah beyond what they'd been doing for thousands of years - snubbing Celestia and using Abyssal power (dark Khvarena?) Something broke the camel's back maybe.

When it said that they are spying on worlds outside Teyvat, this got me thinking Khaenri'ah is basically spying on other Hoyoverse titles and Forbidden knowledge is basically Advanced Science like in those movies where they just slap in the word Quantum kind of science.

They either used unsafe version of Cosmic Juggernaut tech. Or they were on the receiving end of a Cosmic Juggernaut connection.. Like: Su tried to contact Tyvat, but the eggshell/fake sky have changed the signal, so he received wrong feedback, and that's why he thought there was no world free of Honkai. But the signal remained around, and in further Khaenraia used something that retrieved/recreated/fixed the signal. Su wasn't around anymore, and Cosmic Juggernaut wasn't operating from the other side. But something else more localized to Tyvat world could find the signal and get through it. Or the coordinates have just changed, since everything in space is constantly moving, so the coordinates connect to an empty spot in sea of quanta without a world.. That way The forbidden Knowledge could be the unfiltered sea of quanta in our form, seeping into Tyvat and undoing the shackles of the imaginary tree (Irminsul) , so basically destroying the world

Khaenriahns being Vishap people is actually a theory that seems like it could prove to be true. It could explain quite a lot. Even Clothars reaction to seeing an abyss herald and saying it looked like a perfect being could be taken to mean he was specifically thinking of a potential new level of evolution. Vishaps being highly adaptable it could simply be that what we know as the abyss order are actually vishap ppl aka Khaenriahns who learned to adapt to abyssal energy.

I think this quest helps a lot to shape up in our minds what happened just before cataclysm 500 years ago. Basically i think Khanriah grew ambitious because the abyss is technically so close to them, probably trying to push into the real of Khanriah, and thats why they had all the machines and Gold was creating all those monsters? Why else would they need all that machinery? Rings of Nibelung was never more cannon than after this quest.. Dain having the ring? The “bough keeper”? Something that can reshape the world anew just like the faui’s are trying to do. I think that Dain has the “device” (call it a a ring) and it’s safekeeping it, and thats why our sibling despises Dain. Maybe at the end of their journey Dain refused to give the power to abyssal Twin because he saw him unworthy of such thing? Maybe i am overselling Dain (i probably am reading more than i should into the words of Pari xD) Oh man this whole quest was such a tease I don’t wanna wait 4-5 more years to go to Khanriah 😭

The thing is that in Caribert quest, Clothar called the Abyss sibling "Prince/Princess of Khanriah". So does this mean our sibling became Royalty when they first arrived to Teyvat so many years ago? Or they always have been Khanriah's royalty, they just escaped Teyvat, travelled from worlds to worlds and so many years ago, they were summoned back (ie: they came home). Is that why they are not a descender? But that will call into question the relationship between traveller and the abyss sibling 😂😂😂
@nawawii3750
@nawawii3750 Год назад
Maybe after the summoning, Irmin married the sibling to himself or to his heir. That's why they are prince/princess of Khaenraia. If that's the case, then it's a similar story of Selie kingdom getting destroyed after a descender marry a Selie and get the world into doom, and their nation to get destroyed. But that's a wild theory. There are other possibilities. The twin are 100% outsiders, not from Tyvat, but from the same universe... PO wasn't from Tyvat to begin with, so having people from outside like the twin have compatibility with his devices and creations sound reasonable. Then either: something happened that inserted the abyss sibling into Irminsul. Or Abyss Sibling were captured and replicated through alchemy, so Khaenraia had their own version that Irminsul records, while original sibling is dead/imprisoned somewhere. Maybe it wasn't Khaenraia who summoned the twin, but it was an ancient nation, then the sibling died, and Khaenraia revived her into a puppet made from Irminsul wood (like Shogun), and that's why she is recorded in Irminsul from the moment of arrival in Khaenraia? Either way, her connection to Irminsul is the reason why Sustainer was so keen on keeping her inside Tyvat, and preventing her from leaving.. If she's connected to Irminsul, and she go outside and contact forbidden knowledge, then she can corrupt Irminsul and destroy entire Tyvat without being inside it... After sustainer stopped her, she then sealed us and sent us to certain point of time to begin our journey and undo certain things (remember how MC easily purify some abyssal corruption by merely touching?)

It's just my own head-canon (and mostly me wearing clown shoes for believing a "debunked" theory), but I have a feeling that the Abyss sibling could actually be an honorary royalty. And Irmin may actually be connected/related to the Alberich Clan, despite the latter's claim that they're not of "royal blood".

There's something curious about these quests that puts all the info we have under a new light. Until this point it seemed that Khaenri'ah were attacked during the Cataclysm by the Archons and Celestia due to the Abyss's advent and Celestia cursed them with the Hillichurlian curse and that immortality curse. And that Celestia simply didn't want people to know of the past and thus would do anything to keep it hidden like Orobashi's death But Cyno's staff as well as these two quests shined some info that makes everything different: We are told that the curses are from Celestia as punishment, but thanks to Nahida's quest we learned that when creatures are afflicted by the Abyss and Forbidden Knowledge they will slowly decay until one point they become a "passive" form of spreading the Abyss' influence on the land. Specifically, the creatures that became Fungi and are touched by the Abyss turn into the Withering Zones... and interestingly, when one of them went into the Chasm, it was turning into the Dark Mud like the Hillichurls do... but... we are told that Hillichurls were cursed by the Gods? In the new World quest, we learned that Khaenri'ahns fought against the Abyss monsters alongside others from the other nations, we also heard that a "masked man" was turning into a monster but stopped becoming one "because he was cursed". A man that later walked away with (as it's implied) our sibbling. This means the individual was Dain. We also learned through Apep that Celestia cares for life and finds it precious... and in Cyno's staff along with the same quest envolving Apep and Nahida that the Skynails are ment to heal the land of corruption. If we add this to what we know... all of a sudden there's an implication: For Hillichurls to become like the Dark Mud at the end of their "life", it is implied they have to be afflicted by the Abyss first. If Dain was becoming a monster but stopped because of a curse, then that means Celestia's Curse of Immortality is actually a countermeasure against the Abyss' affects that turns others into monsters. And if the Nails are ment to heal the land of Abyssal corruption... then that means they are sent exclusively to contain the Abyss when it's emerging. But what about Orobashi? I think... Orobashi found something he shouldn't have... but as I look back at the new lore of Sumeru, of Forbiden Knowledge having such horrid effects on life itself and it being of the Abyss and how Watatsumi seems interested in burying most of it... I think Orobashi found that, which would explain why his remains exude dark energies that afflicted the Traveler heavily in Inazuma when he confronted Scara... If this is true... then Celestia isn't acting out of cruelty... it's acting because it's trying to prevent another catastrophy... and since there's an energy crises in Fontaine and Celestia is over it... Back in Inazuma I felt that Sumeru would reveal a lot for the story. Now I feel that Fontaine will reveal more about Celestia.

This really reminds me of Dark Souls. The gods in that series were trying to maintain their rule during the Age of Fire by keeping the Age of Dark from ever happening. But the lore suggests the Age of Dark is a natural progression and keeping the Age of Fire going (by burning people alive, mind you) is barbaric and ultimately futile. My point is, your comment makes me think the same applies to the Abyss and Celestia. The gods are trying to stall the Abyss’ natural and inevitable spread across Teyvat. This is why the Traveller Sibling confidently believes the Traveller will “come to the same conclusion” as she/he learns the truth of Teyvat. The world is MEANT to return to the soil (the Abyss) and be born again in a cycle.

@@TheTsugnawmi2010 I doubt that is the case In Dark Souls it is implied that each Lord Soul can only do by what concepts came with it (Life = Warmth, Chaos and Life itself; Light = Order, Time and Light itself; etc) and Since the Dark Soul’s main concept is Want, whoever has it can do anything. And since all things touched by the Dark has a smidgen of Life and can bring Death to the undying, along with birthing Angels that command Light powers... it is clear that the Dark Soul has the potential to revitalize the world. It’s even reflected in the repertoire of magics it has compared to the others. In Genshin, the Abyss merely twists all life forms into something else and seems to feed off the desires of others and drives them ever onward towards it. We are told it harbours a Truth but.. what “Truth” does it bring? Because so far it seems that all its followers work in half-truths. Also, although the Pyro Lector did tell us a truth about who Tsumi was in the Enkanomiya event he wasn't exactly honest with everything, people assumed he had the book Before Sun and Moon and told us about it. Where as in truth he never had it and was going off what they already know. We can tell this is the case because the actual book was stolen by the Abyss order and could be recovered in a hanging cage in Enkanomiya. And it’s hinted to being the only copy. It’s a clear way of looking like they know a lot without actually knowing much; say something you can easily confirm on a book that has truth but don’t say much else otherwise you reveal you’re trying to manipulate others... something which we caught the Abyss order do time and time again. So... for a bunch of “Truth-Sayers”... they do a lot of lying and manipulation.

Also there still is Scaramouche telling the traveler their twin lived with the Jester when the Jester was a royal Madge. Much of this information would seem to begin prior to the fall of Khaenri’ah (fighting the abyssal monsters), while the Jester readied the traveler to become the abyss prince/princess. Magic spells and potions, for mind control. When did the travelers actually arrive in Teyvat? It would have to be prior to the 500 year marker for the city to fall. 30 days? 100 years? 600 years? And who called the traveler? Was it Zhongli? Was it thethe Jester? The lore is so very cool and interesting! I love the part about Zarathustra! What if Celestia initially shook hands with Khaenri'ah? As in, Celestia sent the six archons to help Khaenri'ah quell the disaster, because Khaenri'ah had the technology to fight, but then Celestia turned around and stabbed Khaenri'ah in the back after seeing how impossible it was? Maybe that's why Khaenri'ah characters came to hate the gods so much.

@Alex-vv2ud
@Alex-vv2ud Год назад
Going further into the speculation, it can be said that Celestia was never their enemy, but seeing them dabble in forbidden things, he summoned 6 archons to keep the world from being corrupted. Some say the curse was to prevent forbidden knowledge from getting to Irminsul with the memories of the dead, but the Abyss monsters died and their memories could still contaminate Irminsul. This curse might not have been the work of the gods, but the disease from Abyss. Dainslef lies and manipulates to the full. Something went very wrong that 2 archons died and even Celestia hasn't been seen since. Perhaps the surviving gods decided to destroy the underground kingdom in retreat.

Very good and plausible theory. The only thing I'd say is that I personally really doubt that Celestia/Heavenly Principles actually cursed the Khaenri'ah people. Most likely, the "curse" is incorrectly interpreted as coming from them but is actually coming from something else entirely. In general, this would fall into the pattern we've had of groups that blame the Seven for some perceived wrongdoing being completely wrong and misdirecting their anger (Wanyan with Havria, Watatsumi people with Orobashi, eremites with King Deshret). Even going back as far as Dragonspine spine, the phrasing regarding the nail is oddly ambiguous and almost implies that everyone who blamed the heavens for Sal Vindagnyr's destruction was just lashing out.
@roozeveltfox
@roozeveltfox Год назад
I agree. For a long time I had thought it was actually an abyssal phenomenon, but Caribert quest / Chlothar added a lot of confusion.... so for now I'm kinda just 🤷‍♀️ about coming up with a definitive stance of the curse. Because ALSO it could be an unknown third option? I guess? The curse is the bane of my existence lmao
@Zeke1460
@Zeke1460 Год назад
Even more CRACK theory here: Nibelung returned after his death, according to Apep. What if Kaeya is Nibelung? The new incarnation of him. What if Clothar was a direct descendant of Irmin? We know he was a “pure blooded” Khaenrian, which suggests he likely WAS biologically related to Irmin in some way. So Nibelung pulled a reverse Fafnir and became Irmin, who is also a reference to Odin, and used yggdrasil/irminsul to gain knowledge. He learned about the false sky and the abyss, and started seeking even more knowledge from them. Leading to him summoning the second who came, who got trounced by the Primordial One and Irmin got killed, only to reincarnate at a later date as Kaeya.

your deep dives into khaenriah lore are so interesting! I’m sure someone mentioned it but when I first heard of Nibelung i immediately thought of fafnir who was a dwarf that turned into a dragon (bc of a magic ring he stole). I am not a Norse mythos expert but it also reminded me of how in the Norse saga of God of War, we hear of many dwarves that turned into dragons. “Nibelung” iirc means mist/dark/ underground vibes -and was also used to refer to a place where dwarves and dragons resided- could also strengthen the idea that khaenriahns (being dwarves) and dragons/Vishaps were forced to live underground. I am still very confused about this patch so I’m looking forward to your next videossss❤❤

Khaenri'ans being Vishap people would explain their want to know the secrets of the sky. Maybe, that's why Sustainer herself destroyed Khaenri'ah and not drop the nails? we know now that celestia drops nails to fight corruption and them not doing that to khaenri'ah is very questionable, from what we know. Primordial one destroyed dragonlords and vishaps to make humanity so no wonder they would hate these vishaps who are pretending to be their human creations.

"Who" will be blamed if something happpens, where will whatever happened be perceived as starting from, why the blame and what specific ideals as to why it was done will be used by which group.. Each region and their beliefs would see it differently.

Another thing that people tend to forget is that, 'humans' or a highly intelligent species akin to humans existed before the first throne descended, and it is heavily implied that they bowed down to the new order once the dragon sovereigns were defeated. This race then would coexist with Phanes' humans (current Teyvat mankind). They could be seelies, dragonheirs, whatever species Layla and Klee are... or all of them. In Nahida's quest we see Apep elemental fungi, how they were born inside the dragon and how they were 'growing' (Growth is a term very heavily used), which we can also see as evolving. They also adapt to fit their enviroment and are capable of high intelligence. So what if all elemental beings native to teyvat are descendants of these kind of races? Youkai? Illuminated Beasts? Apep's little creatures were not given enough time to grow and evolve but what about the rest of the dragons? Morax himself is considered the Prime, aka the 'first one' (he also can't change his eyes). Would it be so hard to imagine that Irmin is himself an elemental being of some type? Maybe from the Nibelung himself? And it wouldn't be weird to have a bloodline of humans that come from this evolution of elemental power but are indistinguishable from others. I theorised since the Caribert quest that the reason the wilderness curse affected people from Khaenriah differently was because of their bloodline, the curse didn't change but their ancestors were different. And we know the current King and noble line at the time of the Cataclysm wasn't Irmin's, but another noble's acting as regents. What if they were descended from these beigns. And if that wasn't too tin-foil-ey hat of me I theorised even further. What if all vision holders descend or are related in some way shape or form to these origins? It is said that vision holders can "Ascend" to Celestia, yet in the Venessa manga we see that upon ascension, her face becomes horrified then defeated (and Venti refusing to talk about it vehemently). What if visions is their way of controlling or even stunting the growth of the people they deem most capable, therefore the most dangerous to them (which is why khaenrians would dislike or even hate vision users or the usage of elemental power granted by visions).

The whole Khaenri'ahns being Vishap people and thus having those star shaped eyes explains SO much to me???? And I just wanna throw out that we know Genshin is connected to the Honkai Verse, and we also can assume that the Windglider in Herta's Spaceship isn't "just a reference" we can also lightly assume that just maybe Tears of Themis might have something to do with the Honkaiverse as in the Spaceship we find the House of Cards Vyn was building when we first met him in Tears of Themis. The text describing the cards is basically the same as what Vyn said to us, which coincidiently also is a whole ass monologue about fate and choosing paths which all lead to different outcomes. ,,So it must be" and Genshin fate/ Kaeya vibes much? Also, what pupil-shape do people in ToT have? Stars. And I've been wanting to touch upon Samsaras for so long because the fact that both Genshin and Honkai Impact 3rd both use the Samsara terminology while exploring different time and space possibilities is WILD to me. You could always just chalk everything down to "coincidences" and "references" but istg at some point it just becomes TOO MANY coincidences for worlds that are canonically intertwined. We don't know much about if TOT is part of the Honkaiverse but the aforementioned aspects are wild to me and just too weird for me to ignore. On some weird that it happened twice yk. While we're mostly focussing on Genshin here I do want to point out the whole intergame lore out because Mhy planning out crazy lore in and across Genshin and multiple other (more or less) very canon heavy games is crazy

I don't care if its a tinfoil hat theory, I love it! Khaenriah being vishap people would be a very interesting plot twist and would explain their pupils among other things. Yes there are people out there with odd pupils like some of the characters in Liyue, but since this is also where the adepti are and just looking at Yanfei and Ganyu you could say that maybe they have a bit of adepti blood but not enough to be immortal, they only have enough to have a few odd traits. (I'm referring to characters like Chongyun and Hutao) It makes more sense then my theory that the Sinner is Mondstadt's dragon sovereign. 🤣 (everybody else says its Irmin) On that note however, I wonder if the Sinner has been manipulating Khaenriah from the very beginning and trying to make Celestia seem straight up evil to them in order to raise an army that will fight on its behalf.

@DavidJohnson-ib1dh Год назад
Well the theory is a bit nuts but there's some evidence for it you didn't consider: (1) we know Khaenri'ahns have some sort of non-human blood in them because of all the fuss made over the purity of their blood. Now my guess has been that they mixed with Seelie and this is why we have all that nonsense about bad things happening when Seelies and Humans get married. It's polemic against Khaenri'ahns. But yeah Vishap (dragon) blood is an alternative I hadn't considered. (2) the Fatui have some vibes about representing the Dragon faction. This is a bit of a reach but it comes from noting that the other Divine forces (Abyss and Celestia) are already represented by well known parties we have been introduced to in game, namely the Archons and the Abyss Order. There's no dragon faction. Why don't the Fatui team up with one side or the other if it's just a two-way fight between Abyss and Celestia? The other thing is that Pierro says something about burying Signora in "the Old World" which has been the phrase used to mean the pre-Primordial One world ruled by the dragons. This theory never went anywhere because there was never any link between Pierro and dragons. But you just came up with one. (3) we have hints that the Vishaps used to be smarter. Enka scientists hint at it, reports on Apep's old court basically say Wenuts and flying serpents used to be smart, and we get that one word mention that Light Realm "nations" submitted to the Primordial One. Against the theory is that Human realm and Light realm biology doesn't mix well (per the Enkanomiyan researchers). OTOH they didn't say it was impossible. Also that Khaneri'ahns non-human inherited trait is diamond shaped pupils, not ... small horns or something more Vishap / dragon-like. If you ever find a picture of a dragon with diamond pupils that would help. Tsumi (yes I know she's not actually Vishap related) had slit pupils to suggest a Vishap heritage.

I love this video so much, the narration, correct pronounciations of names, the theories, everything. We learn so much and nothing at the same time! Dont even get me started about the artefacts sets. What are the knight of Narcizen? One of the set suggest that Nibelung was defeated by the fonder of the nation of machine , is this heroe Irmin ?is the he divine bird the daughter of Nabu Malikata and Amun Al-Ahmar ? I understand why amrita was in Sumeru since Khaenri'ha was there but she left her nation with who? The divine bird with the Khvarena swimed in the previous hydro archon turned lake, amrita after Rhukadevatta released her to purge the Land thus creating the Pari race thats why in the artefact she calls The goddess of flowers, the goddess of sweet Dew and the goddess vegetation her mothers. So Nabu Malikata is her real mother, Rhukadevatta is her Mother because she took great care of her and amrita because she swimed in her remain right ? Idk it makes sense to me Other questions, who is this god Rhukadevatta turned into a tree? Why in certains areas of the region there is marking of the elements but not geo and anemo? If we go by your theory and pure blooded Khaenri'hans are vishaps why would irmin fight Nibelung to death ? (If the heroe of the story is him) and who saved him ? The girl in the tower ? Amrita ? I was actually going to address this in my next video, but I guess as a bit of a preview: I personally think it's a reference to a famous philosopher's treatise on the folly of black-and-white morality. Still very speculative and still a work in progress, though. I'm very open to other interpretations, of course!
@DavidJohnson-ib1dh
@DavidJohnson-ib1dh Год назад
@@roozeveltfox Really? Because it seemed like the Skeptic tribe's outlook was very in to "world clash of cosmic forces" everything is war, you pitiful fools who think peace is at hand, ha! Everything is a sign of the cosmic war between the forces of the Abyss and Celestia! My toast this morning was an image of the eternal battle! Wouldn't it be kinda cool if we lived in the times of the Cataclysm? Good vs Evil as balancing forces. Zoroastrianism. It's the same vibe as the Chasm. But very much at odds with the Enkanomiyan vision of a three way fight between three realms, which seemed to get a boost from Nahida's story quest. Although arguably it also provided a way to link the 2-way symmetry and the 3-way symmetry together. But going back to the Good and Evil in the title, I don't think the skeptic boss guy sees Celestia as morally superior necessarily. Well obviously he's fine getting help from a Lector, but at the same time doesn't join either side. So perhaps that's what you meant by the folly of black-and-white thinking? Having said all that-- the Abyss seems far worse as a force and i don't think they'll try to rehabilitate it's image or say they're the equivalent of each other.
