Is it just me? Or does the passive radiator make them pound less? Especially in sealed boxes…

It gives you the best of both box types in one. But I also see it helping release heat that a full sealed wouldn’t let escape.

Ones a passive radiator with zero power to it. Just absorbs some of the blow and distributes it. They pound harder without them. Like if he had a single cut box that was ported…… it’d pound way harder, even in a sealed box it’d pound harder without it.

@@abelscaliber7969 if its truly .3 or less, then its impressive. not many subs sound good with that small of box.

how would you know? And it's only 1 sub, the other is a reflex sub that amplifies it. It had decent excursion in this video.

No it doesnt. And stock Bose systems suck.

First of all, its one sub, second of all, you cant judge with just a cell phone video. lol. But you are better okay.

@xxsekoxx yeah I clearly made that comment without having a clue as to what I was talking about at the time. Moved on to skar subs anyway couldn't pull what I wanted out of the comp series or the L7 subs.

@@sinister5289 are the Skars any good? I've heard of a lot of mixed reviews about them.

@@xxsekoxx theyre great, even their "low end" bass package hits like a mf and for a good price, i recently went from skars sdr series to their flagship zvx series and let me just say, a single 12 inch skar zvx sub out performs their DUAL 12 inch sub sdr bass package. i have 2 friends that also run skar and one does it for competition, never had issues with them.

@@xxsekoxx I have Skar SDR 10's in my car and they're great. I've been using them for about a year with no problem. I broke them in properly, played them for about a week on medium volume. I am using the RP1200.1D Amp. I spent several days tweaking the amp to get it right. They are tuned to 80hz with 25hz subsonic. Gain is not quite half way, real clean sound and they hit hard.
