Gonna throw one of these in my single sub slim box that’s sealed with a 1,600 watt amp once my 48cdf124 blows. Or the basic kicker comp 12. Hoping it blows soon! been pushing its limits. They recommend 150rms 300 peak. I run a 300 peak BUUUUT that’s cause ima run a 180-200rms and the amp probably clips being a 1,600 watt amp which isn’t good for the sub and can do the same as over powering it. Hopefully she lets go sometime soon! No signs of blowing as of right now though💀🤘🏼
@@snotrokets199 The sound is radiated, not the air. The box is sealed, but instead of air shooting out of a reflex port the air moves the radiator based on its mass. You won't be doing any hair tricks with these, but you can get decent bass.
Considering that rockville and kicker paired that Amp to each other seems to be one good reason. Knowing my ohms and wattage I had it set correctly. After it was sent back to kicker it was determined to be a faulty subwoofer.
