I'm an Eastern Christian and I've always felt more culturally comfortable with my Muslim friends than with many Western Christians, even if our theology is totally different. Charles isn't a politician, he is an extremely well educated, cultured individual and I respect his well-formed views. If anything it probably makes him a better Christian.

I was not at all aware of this information about King Charles lll. It's very pleasant to know that he is well versed in Islamic history! I now have a positive opinion about him because of that. My father is a freemason. Royals are freemasons too. I converted to Islam. My father didn't. He does not believe in God. He's quite a selfish man too. I have been aware of his admiration of Islam for decades. I have already mentioned this to my family who only knew him from 'The Crown'. I personally believe we are lucky to have mo monarch with such a positive and detailed knowledge of Islam.
