In this video, we will take a look at some great, but unfinished questlines, that we may get to see finished in Classic + (season of discovery)
The early story of Varian is explained in 3 amazing questlines, which could all be done at low levels. These quests gave an insight in what Blizzard had in store for one of the game's favorite characters, King Varian Wrynn - a story that we unfortunately never saw concluded within the game.

Honestly they probably will. They'll make them quests to unlock runes, which would be pretty sick.

I remember shortly after the start of Legion, when Blizzard asked what people wanted added to the merchandise store. My favorite response was "A 1000-piece puzzle of Varian Wrynn."

It's cool to see that during the whole duration of Vanilla and even TBC they didn't forget about him even thought he had no purpose in the game.

Rescuing varian should definitely be a questline in SoD. I can imagine it being tied to the onyxia attunement for alliance and horde get the gladiator half of varian. After defeating onyxia you get a quest that sees varian made whole again.

The questline didn’t end, Varian comes back to SW when you do the onxyia attunement. Definitely one of the best quest in classic

Varian was possibly one of the most badass characters Blizzard have ever created. Anduin has been quite disappointing in comparison.

Not all characters can be Varian. Also, each has it's role. And Anduin is actualy quite badass in his own way. He has been shown to have a strong connection with the light , and taken down Nathrezhim lords by himself, but Anduin is also a more complex character then his father. While Varian is super cool and all, he is more of just a warrior, more single minded... Hopefuly in the upcoming expansions Anduin will have the chance to shine a bit and show us what he is realy made of.

I hate how those quests lead nowhere. They were and are such a pain in the butt to do and leave of in such unsatisfactory way. Like what did that soldier leak that we left to be interrogated? Nothing? Lame.
