Kingdom - 1. Laying Foundations 

Man, what a gorgeous game. The water effects are especially wonderful, the arrow shot by the peasants even fall into the water!

As I understand it buying the flag just selects it as your "official" flag and colours which will follow you into other games. It will also appear on certain units.

Whenever I see the red moon rise my heart fills with dread, and I squeeze my crown as tightly around my skull as I can. It seldom helps.

If they're about to break down a wall, drop a bunch of coins; they should pick those up and run off instead of taking tools, hopefully. If they take the tools anyway, they won't take any coins so it doesn't really matter.

As with many fellow commenters, I will also agree on how beautiful the game is. However, I truly think the water is the most spectacular part of the graphics. So...beautiful....

The aesthetic of the game is really interesting. Well, the gameplay too come to think of it xD

The rocky outcrops outside your established area tend to get covered up by vines in the background, this is a game feature to make it uncertain where the fortifications will show up, if I understand it correctly.

YESSS When I saw you playing this yesterday I did a little "please be a let's play please be a let's play" chant.

I've had my eye on this game for a while, I love it, glad to see it on the channel. But after some playing i've noticed something disturbing. If you aren't rushing, and be incredibly investment-effective in the first 20ish days. You will probably lose by default because you simply can't beat the portals anymore ( or extremely difficult with 1 silly method which i'll withhold for your sake ) Overall, this game could use a littlebit more in my humble opinion, especially when it comes to coin and upgrades, at the start you are 'starved' but mid-late game I had to time my sprints so I won't pick up any coin which.. is a wee bit silly, aren't kings known to hoard coin? ;-) again, in my opinion. I welcome discussion.

I know its a silly thing to say, AND THAT IS THE POINT, its good to see a proper British person playing this (yeah, Welsh is it but I am racist ignorant american, forgive that) who knows kingly rather than an american who is equally well suited to play this game, but it just doesn't feel the same. Obligatory LMAO.

Did you know if you max out you first 2 wooden walls then go to the next level town center from where you ended the video those 2 walls get the first stone upgrade for free?

I was curious so I looked it up... from the reddit for this game: "3 coins into banner = save banner for future playthroughs. It also locks in the main color when you randomize your King/Queen" So, basically, useless... it's an aesthetic thing and not even for your current play-through. P.S: While looking, I read about an issue that may crop up... and we had a first taste of it at the end of this video even! Your archers are bunching up on one side. I've seen a few theories on what may cause it, the most troublesome one being that maybe the archers go on the side they were recruited. This means that if you recruit ALL your people from the camp on the right... you left side defenses will be SEVERELY lacking. Another theory was that they go in the direction you are facing when you purchase the bow.

Like with Planetbase, this has been a bit of a disappointment. There is no way to control the AI, and while this is a challenge and an aspect of the game, it makes it needlessly frustrating to see all your armed forces gather at one side while the other constantly gets overrun.
