We don't know nothing. Best way to avoid being beat up by Henry is to know nothing and expect nothing. Results may vary. Also, send coffee...very tired.
They likely would've improved their AI or just the gaming mechanic in general so we might get a game that's closer to a medieval version of RDR2, but none of that would be enough to stop Helical *devil face But I do they make some changes tho, like commenting on small things like what type of clothes you're wearing at certain places, your reputation, a similar honor system to the one in RDR2, and what weapons you're using etc.
@Alder_of_Starside Have you not seen the full game reveal of KCD 2 lol? Most of your thoughts/questions have already been answered by the devs in the reveal and interviews after.
Glad that the videos are making you laugh. And someday I wish to make or get made a mod that replaces certain sound effects. Shouldn't be too hard, but it would be fun for a single playthrough :P
Ah its good to see you back once again :D Yah, I do wish when throwing people from walls, that it didn't push Henry back off the wall. I want to see people bounce! Sometimes, I haven't figured out the cause, but you can rocket NPC off the cliff edge and they will go flying sometimes. I really want to capture that. No idea if the NPC lives afterwards, but they go flying, like towards the river far.
I love Henry signing up for the tourney by speaking to the Bailiff who is in his underwear while Henry wears his clothes, and every other competitor is totally not suspiciously dead the night before 😂
Guessing the bandit didn't appreciate Henry putting him into the ground the first time and thought to throw hands against the Slavonic Demon known as Henry of Skaltiz.
Henry was too afraid to mess with that guard. If someone can squat like that for a long period of time they got to be yolked, or either they found a way to break the physics and Henry know the power of doing that already and didn't want to mess with that guy.
Actually, its getting concerning while I play. Some areas of the map, more odd things have been happening that I can not control and making the game a bit unpredictable. Hopefully it will show up in some future episodes ;)
A nice touch to dress up Henry like the herald when you're talking to him I forgot all about that method where you can basically loot all of the combatant before the tournament. Because then you can get all their loot to sell The thimg with Reeky is I've encountered him in three different scenarios. One where he is laying down on his deathbed after being attacked. One time he was sitting on a stump and in a similar situation. And one time where he was completely fine and the bandits were on their way. It's a nice touch that they added different scenarios when finding him. Like it all depends on how long it takes you to find him. I came across the bandits Camp before I found the cave and I took out the three bandits, and I realized that it might have been them. So I went to the cave it appeared that they had already been there and that's when I saw him laying there Knocking on Heaven's Door
Yup, from what I understand with Reeky [I agree the different scenarios where you can find Reeky depending on time it takes to find him is a nice touch!] is mostly how long it takes from the last mission to this one on a timer. But from the last episode to this, Henry basically wasted no time at all. Also, I never seen the bandits being there, yelling at Reeky after they stabbed him. I am not certain if that is even suppose to be in the main game? I am curious if anyone seen that before. [Sitting on a stump? I never seen that before for Reeky, even I haven't seen everything I guess lol] My guess is that killing those bandits at their camp way earlier in the game, started the timer for Reeky, even though we were not on that mission and then it just went straight to the ending where he is stabbed but not? This game is full of craziness that at times I can't tell if this happens in the game or a bug out sort of deal lol I am really confused about this one, I was going to do a skit and everything with Reeky, but now I couldn't do it haha
Honestly that is a big thing that I say all the time myself about the reputation box poping up. I usually cut it out but I comment it everytime, like game! Henry is in the hole for -100 reputation, I don't think he cares at this point :P anyways here have a drink! :D *Starts pouring out a drink*
Haha, yah I am actually surprised a bit too at times, always thought I be closer to 20k at this time but oh well. I think it mostly has to do with RU-vid wiping away old "dormant" accounts that do not watch anymore in a certain amount of time. Its sort of bad and good. Bad in the sense less exposure at the top, but good I guess in community wise, where I know a lot more people on a better bases (or people that comment regularly). I feel it would be worse to have a channel with a million subscribers but only a few thousand views lol, that would hurt much more, so this is good right now, where people who care about KCD and the antics around are watching and I appreciate that, good to hear from all you every weekend or whenever I post a new video.
The one guard who actually gets it! "Hail sithis" if only we could get an easy mod for that put into the game. An assassins guild/missions seem fitting in the world a bit for some strange DLC missions :P I do appericate how he helped to clean up the "crime scene" or was he just joining in on the pillage ;)
Nope, this is straight vanillia, well its part of the Hans Capon DLC, she is one of the talking people for the mission but she is just labeled "gossip" so I had to go over to her for that one specific voice line :P
so when you get to vranik place, try storing all the bodies in one location, its so many that they can form a body pool that never stops wiggling, (i think i did mine at the gate entrance, originally to hide the doll-corpses but then because its disturbingly funny). I actually did what you are doing now but just for 2 sections of the game (vranik and the castle night assault). Both have finite npcs so you can actually "win" though it doesnt let you proceed unless you act like you didn't do those things. Funny enough, Henry can get to his dad, wont be able to talk to his dad on the night assault but he cant kill him either. No doubt Lady Stephanie is banging Toth in some hiddened room...
I have to be honest. Currently though I am sort of purist mode and fear of corrupting my save files (sounds silly of course), but I haven't installed a single mod yet. Though once I am through this series and that KCD2 is basically around the corner, its time to really mess around and just go with it. Nvidia card does have a 3rd person view (sort of) that pauses the game and lets you go around the game within a short distance, but its not really a good one and sort of clunky. I haven't had too much luck with it and only used it when really strange things happen. Now thinking of it, I should've checked out Black Peter when he banished to the void for a bit.
I depends on what uncut version you would like to see. Lots of the videos come from 2-3 hours of game play footage, then the slicing and dicing begin trying to get things all setup, so its an absolute mess! What I might do later on though is combine all the parts of the series and turn them into a movie, probably 2-3 part movies that are 4-5 hours long. Cutting out some things here and there. Though, I keep telling myself I should go and try to stream on twitch or youtube and see how the proverbially sausage is made for some of these parts, I wonder if you all would be interested in that.
I think I might do an upload later on of the "long" version of Henry of Skaltiz someday. I just need to find a good song that I can use to put it against. Any ideas? Some house music type I was thinking initially, but I am always open to ideas.
I am glad you brought that up! I have used the executioner sword in the "Hardcore Henry" series, but it was pretty gimmicky. Buuuuuttt..what would be great is if there was a mod of some sort that kept kill counts on weapons, and make the sword a "soul collector" of some sort. If that is possible, I am 100% leaning into that RP status for Henry in this playthrough. The sword is terrible, but you can get kills on a wooden sword, that means the executioner sword is good enough.
Ah this is an interesting topic. I want to say that they do. The AI is really good at hiding injuries so I can't say for 100% certain that they do, but that toss over the wall, most people will not die the first time over, but if they come back and you toss them without any rest, I could've sworn people have perished. But this is a good thing to test out at a "real" fall damage place. I have one place in mind that no one should survive, but will take a bit of a hike. But with that in mind, there are not many places that AI can take fall damage without the intervention of Henry of Skaltiz!
