Random thought. With Apes exhibiting greater intelligence since the time of Caesar, why haven’t they started inventing and studying with schools of thought and design etc? Or do they exist and we haven’t seen them yet? Also, will Noa lead this new focus for his group of apes?
I think it’s very possible another clan that exists right now has done exactly that. Noah’s seemed to be on to agriculture first and domesticating other animals.
Good thought. I'd think them being more comfortable in the elements is both a blessing and a curse when it comes to inventiveness and innovation. Them being comfortable in essentially outdoors gives them more free time and energy to have such thoughts, but that same level of connectedness gives them less of an inclination/need for it. I definitely agree that there'd likely be alot of philosophical and/or artistic advances. That said, by law of averages, there HAS to be some clan that would have solid tech advances... Even if it doesn't stem from a NEED for the tech, but just a PURSUIT of advancement simply for the sake of it.
@@thinkingblack4035 i think the driver for the technological change you’re referring to is war or the threat of it. A lot of things that get invented were somehow some way motivated or funded by some war aim. Hell that’s why we wear suits. Noa showed signs of being a bit of a tinkerer. Proximus would’ve backed that with resources had they met under different circumstances. Problem is he wanted to do it the Roman way and ran into a main character.
