I have a 5 Door Refrigerator Whirlpool and the user interface was not working. I purchased a new interface and wiring harness to replace them. When I opened took off the user interface off the pantry drawer, I found that the wires had corroded due to water dripping on it from the water dispenser above. If you have a problem with no power to the user interface board, check the connections.

Long shot, but I have this fridge, can anyone tell me if there is only one thermistor? My Fridge isn't getting cold, freezer and drawers are fine. I was told to thaw the fridge and replace the thermistor but I just want to make sure I am replacing the one here in the video and there isn't multiple. Can someone tell me which one is responsible for the Top portion?

I have the same issue. It seems to be the thermistor at the back of the fridge

@Laissez_Faire I figured it out. There is one for the fridge and the trays. If your top fridge goes bad you need to replace the one that is connected to the fan and thermistor in the same harness. Took about an hour to replace. Not too bad. I would assume there is 3 thermistors in the fridge

Hello and thank you your very informative videos. My fridge is about 2 years old, purchased for around $5000. I have the following problem now. Lately I see a 6C degree difference between upper fridge and the left pantry drawer. This pantry now is freezing everything in it if I keep the setting to 3C as it has always been set at. So I changed setting to 4C but now the pantry shows temp at about 1C and the rest of fridge is showing around 7C. My question is: Shouod I replace the Thermistor for this pantry drawer or Shouod I replace the evaporator/Thermistor/Thermostat assembly? Or is it something completely different. This is a $5000 fridge and obviously I can’t effort to simply have it replaced. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may have.
