KLR685 - first ride 

I went with the stock compression. Thickness of the base gasket determines this. The info is on Schnitz's website. Boring was about $80. Make sure you send the shop the new piston so they can get it right. This upgrade is well worth it IMHO.

They are the Happy-Trails Tetons. They are made very well. Easy on easy off and very secure.

I can't comment on fuel consumption because I never rode it before the upgrade. I have read that it does not increase consumption.

how does it compare in power vs the stock piston? can you feel the difference right away?
