Knights of the Round Table VS The Argonauts 

This really shouldn't need clarification, but Achilles IS a Neo Argonaut in FGO. Hence him being part of the "Argonauts" Fate wise.

This battle is not a question of whether or not the Round Table can win, it’s a question of can Jason throw harder than Heracles can carry.

Now I want to see these two factions clash in a Death Battle. Funny how Jason isn't a part of the fight despite being Captain of the Argonauts. The man truly is the Buggy of his own crew.

Powerscaling in Fate is very complicated as is, but it gets even more difficult with servants because their current power source dictates a lot of what they can and can't do so it's all pretty situational

I’d like to think Asclepius was an X-factor that majorly shifted things in his team’s favor. Any seasoned RPG vet will tell you that a “white mage” build with healing expertise is a cornerstone you want to have in your party.

Divinty is always such a tough thing to overcome unless your also divine or specifically optimized to counter it. Great vid and I could really picture things as they were described.

If you added Ruler Karl to the Paladins then they would have a good chance of winning combined with whatever Roland's three miracles could potently do, some possible examples being turning day to night and maybe getting rid of the Knights of the Rounds' blessings if they have them. Durandal could also probably block Rhongomyniad at least once since Hector's Durindana can block Artemis's arrows in LB5 and it turned into Durandal.

Imagine if The Lion King won and Jason walk it and used Astrastope Argo and summoned everyone back. I mean they will agree to help finish what they started.

Man, seeing you Narrate the fight just makes me excited. I can't for Nasu to add Meleager, Theseus and Peleus. Meleager and Theseus would busted, since both of them were greatly compared to Heracles in terms of feats. Meleager was known for his immortality and Theseus, I don't really have to explain. Also, Palamedes and Lamorak would be interesting. Since the first was known for defying destiny by slaying the Questing Beast and Merlin himself stated that he saw into the future that Percival would be the one to slay it. Palamedes having an Anti-Destiny/Anti-Fate NP would be sick! The second one, Lamorak died while fighting against Gawain, Mordred, Agravain and Gaheris all of them at the same time. He lasted for a while against them and it took a surprise attack from Mordred to be able to take Lamorak down. He was attacked by them because he slept with their mother Morgan. Although, he was mostly seduce by her.

I like how more than half the round table isn't even in this fight.😂😂

To be honest, and to put my two cents into it, we're talking about sane Herc. Like I could easily see him guild the other members to victory. But that's it, appreciate the attention to argonauts there a pretty underrated team if you take out the main hitters

Even though Jason wasn't here for obviously being physically pretty weak, he is still incredibly strong as a leader and his special abilities. Jason can summon up nearly the entirety of the Argonauts if he has good standing by using Astrápste Argo and can buff them with Conquering the Sea with Friends which specifically buffs Argonauts by crazy amounts. He also has Inspiration at Death's Door which pretty much allows him to avoid certain death and evade, so if he's ever in danger he can get out of it at least once. He's also best friends with Heracles, so you fuck with Jason then you get the rage filled monster coming at you lol

It legitimately frightens me to see how well the selected Knights did versus the Neo Argo. Granted everyone save for the Lion King was just a VERY skilled warrior and the Argo possessed divinity/age of gods level power... I can't even be mad about the result considering how much it took for both sides to even begin squaring up with each other. Well fought Argo, well fought. 👏 Imagine if they had a support Caster like Merlin... Though that would trivialize the fight all things considered. 😂

Are you going to do a video on the scrapped routes and how Shirou and Rin's actions and abilities would be like? What course of action will each of them take each route? I feel like that would be an interesting video on Illya route, Caster route, Rider route and the others that I did not mention.

Why would anyone think the Knights for the Round Table were over the Argonauts? Greek Myth beats anything else in Western mythos.

I have to disagree. Rhongo CAN'T be stopped by a shield with its built in invul pierce. The second Achilles uses his shield to try and block it, it's game over for him or at least he'd be super f'd up.

This is a very either way fight, I think that the setting is very important too. In a more city-like setting the many ranged attackers of the argonauts would gain advantage, however this xan also work to their disadvantage given how all of the knights noble phantasms are strong enough that it would ignore cover and have lits of range, and them having a false sense of security could easily allow them to be fataly injured from that. Then theres lancelot, who may actually benefit from structures more than the ranged attackers as he can utilize arondights bomb attack in a ranged scenario by throwing a bomed piece of a wall, use it to trap potential cover the argonauts would use, or maybe destroy a building and use the multiple pieces as a chain bomb increasing its potency, maybe even doing it as a last stand type attack. In a more open scenario the ranged attackers gain the attack advantage, but loose the defense advantage. The knights would be easier to hit if they have minimal cover and while the same can be said for the rangers of the argo they can be stalled much easier from their close range fighters. I see this video as more similar to scenario 2 where the ranged attackers dont have to engage and can pull off more support.

If we replace heracles’ godhand with his 12 labors phantasm or possibly give him godhand and 12 labors which he would probably have access to at full power, he dog walks this team solo, not really, but he does way too much probably killing 90% of the round table without too much effort.

The only problem with this battle is that it favours Gawain since it's daytime. Caenis however is literally getting shafted without her field advantage. She should have used her seafarring authority to transport near water or use the water she summons to empower herself. I wonder if Caenis merely being on a battlefield with water nearby would have empowered her enough to force the Lion King to deal with her directly, Lancer to Lancer.

Overall very entertaining video, I actually got hyped listening through. However I feel like Herakles was pretty much wasted here. I think the decision to have him in his Archer class was a mistake, simply because we practically know nothing about his skills and noble phantasms in that class, only that he has God Hand and Nine Lives but that's the default equipment for Herakles in all his classes. Seeing Greece's strongest hero be basically side-tracked and do nothing but shoot volleys (which...well, never actually did much) felt lacking, and so I think that even his Berserker counterpart would do better here as he could actually go fight the knights with a weapon one-on-one. Nevertheless pretty cool stuff, ARGONAUTS TAKE THE WIN LESGOOOOOO

I think the main cutting point against the KoTR is speed. Like yeah anime stuff equalizes speed but Atalanta, Achilles, Herc, and Caenis (situationally) are so freaking fast and aggressive. They have a gery good shot of speed blitzing and throwijg momentum to the Greeks from the get go. Then Medea doing Rap God in the back with rapid divine words

I liked how you made this into a story but I can't agree with you on the outcome. Lion King alone would beat all the Argos.In Camelot she could use an attack that has 1000 - 3000 × more magical energy than top ranked Noble Phantasms which include the anti fortress photon ray,Vasavi Shakti and Excalibur Morgan. So her regular Rhongomiad(Lancer Artoria's output) use would be 1000-3000 not 3 to 4. Her Rhongomiad's would be much stronger if she's using her max output instead of Lancer Artoria's max. She can make barriers that can block 2 Dendera Bulbs so nothing the Argos have should be enough to kill her. Using Lancer Artoria or Saber Alter would make it a closer fight

We all know Medea would instantly backstab Jason for her precious Saber-chan.

Basically, the Knights of the round table are practically at a peak level that they have to match off with Age of Gods' heroes. Plus power level isn't everything. Its versatility of their NP. E.g. is Emiya killed Hercules 6 times in a row with his Kanshou & Byakuya & these guys aren't peak level weapons. He strengthened them enought to make Divinity not matter. The Knights of the Round has a number of Divine weapons in their arsenal so that's an advantage on their part.

I have a question about Heracles wouldn't he have both god hand as well kings order it's not really a case where he has one or the other since kings order is he's labours and god hand was he's resurrection into a god after he completed his labours so in this battle where no one nerfs he's powers wouldn't he have both?

Seems kiiiinda ufair to me. I mean, some of knights even didn't have a chance against that 3/4 divine team. I also don't know about Percival too much, so i didn't get the thing about him with Mordred breaking through the wave. Is his fantasm the spear which pierced Jesus? Possibly have more uses than... I guess if u would to add somebody to the knights, such as Agravain, things would be more fair. Adding Galahad would result in banger and even possibly the win of Round Table, but we don't know much about him in his saber class, and him being shielder would grant win to the knights (if his shield works like Mash's, i don't really know that)

In terms of personality and backgrounds, can we consider Kirei Kotomine and Raiden from MGS and MGR similar? Both of them are child assassin, bouth of them never lived their live befour meeting certen character, Kirei met Gil, and Raiden mest Solid, bouth of them are born murdurer and an outside impuls awake that murderous side, Kirei side was awoke by Angra-Manyu, Raiden side was awoke mostly by Sam and Monsoon.

Great fight even with archer Heracles being an odd character to power scale since he doesn't actually have feats outside of alcides though most of the archer feats should be comparable. I do think Heracles could face tank a full force rhongo and walk it off with a life or battle continuation propping him up since in LB5 he does apparently take 2 full powered shots from Artemis's anti world noble phantasm but thats kinda just guess work since god hand doesn't exactly show how many lives each beam attack takes from him but yeah the argonauts should win by virtue of greater versatility among the fighters and Heracles and Achilles being near the top of heroic spirits as a whole with only king arthur managing to be at that level among her knights. funnily enough Heracles could be considered a member of both parties as Arthurian mythos created Marmyadose to link king Arthur to the legendary Hercules though we don't know how a saber class herc would go about things

If the Argonauts play more defensively I think they would have the advantage. They out range the Knights. Atalanta, Heracles archer, and Medea would just barrage them with range attacks until the knights are worn out. While the speedsters would use their overwhelming speed to defend from the knights' charges and Asclepius would keep the entire team healthy. Tristan would not be able to defend by itself so he would need help from Gawain's noble phantasm. Rhongomydiad could breach through the defense but there is a cool down to it. The knights aren't weaker they just got outrange.

you know what i just thought about, that i think would be an interesting video to make. Who are some fictional candidates for the remaining grand servant classes that we don't know about. I noticed this on both a few of your videos and from other channels. Everyone when trying to guest who the next grand servant will be. They always try to use some real life example from history or ancient mythology. And as cool as that is and all. But how come no one has used any fictional character examples from the public domain. I mean we got foreigner class servants who are based (Mostly) on real life people having made a deal (Mostly) with various eldritch gods from the lovecraft mythos. We got two different versions of Paul Bunyon, We have Sherlock Holmes, and James Moritary. All of which are fictional or based on fictional characters. Hell we even got two different versions of vlad the impaler. One of which is based on his real life description, which the other one was based on the idea of his appearance from Dracula. Hell imagine grand berserker being Tarzan, or grand saber being Conan the Barbarian. Then on top of that. We got the alter ego class with them being a bunch of gods and other servants clamped into one package. so yeah Then you got all them psudo servants, artifical servants, one of whom i believe became the grand lancer, as from what I understand from people who explained it. Grand lancer wasn't even real to begin with, rather just a regular lancer that was altered by a number of factors before having the grand title slapped on to him in order to deal with the situation presented. And that kinda brings up another point. What about the remaining grand servants being alternate versions of current servants. I mean doing a video on current servants and characters who could potentially be a grand servant could be good right? I mean given that we have orion as a servant that is operated by artamis, only to learn that he had a grand servant form known as super orion. Are they the same person but from different points in their history, or are they from different realities. Grand Lancer is simiar as well. Having two different versions of himself being active. One as a grand, and the other as a normal servent. Plus we have all them other servants with alternate classes but are actually the same servant taken from different points of their history or from alternate realities. Could the remaining grands be an alternate version of an existing character. Like say grand saber being Merlin, or Roland. Then lastly you have the type-moon OG franchises such as melty blood and the original fate stay night. I mean with the number of characters that are original to type-moon themselves. I mean they included Shirou and Kiritsugu, along with Shiki Ryougi, and Acruaid as servants. I mean would it be strange if we find out that grand saber was actually a version of Shirou from one of the three Stay/Night timelines, or grand berserker being Gudako or some something. I mean, it's just a thought that I don't see being explored all that much.

I kinda feel awkward about some things, though, and I want to put them here for you to read rather than just let them sit in my head. Why have Archer herc in? We only have a vague idea of his noble phantasms due to alcides being essentially an altered version, with his king's order being a deliberate cheat as compensation for losing nine lives, making it unclear which of those items he has an archer without it. You could've just used berserker herc to make it easier on yourself. As for avalon, that's a phantasm she can only have during her life or in the fate route. If you're worried about people complaining, then maybe do something like give her rhongomyniad as compensation as she did have it in life. I kinda was complaining in my head about cutting out gareth, agravain, and bedivere, but then I remembered you also cutted out the dioscuri and jason as well. (Plus, we really don't know much about agravian's abilities since he wasn't really used or given a spreadsheet.) Just promise you'll make an updated version once we see the rest of these two rosters be filled out? Still, great video man, keep them coming.
