I know this is an older video, but I loved it. Reminded me why I love this tool. Good tips for sure, thank you kind sir!! Your video is a bit slow, but that is good, I did not know that the dremell blades were compatable, but for the price! Kobalt all the way. I wish you had a video of how the porcaline blade works, but I will search more. Thank you so much for this video. New to home projects and such and was on a purchase freinze when I origanally got this. a reminder video was just what I needed to reinforce why I got this product! I have used it so much, and with your video reminds me of what else I can do with it. So thank you! I appreciate it!
Your videos are the greatest. I have this tool & the grinder. I also have a lathe & lots of scrap T6 aluminum rod. I know some may have a lathe. If the OD of any brand blade is workable and the ID is larger I turn a small arbor type adapter for a tight fit. Just got to pay attention to max safe RPM. Did I mention I love Kobalt 24V tools ? 💕👀
To fully press the lock button down, the Allen wrench may need to click a few times while rotating. Hope this helps the next person. Otherwise, very helpful video.
Josh Seymour No, I have to date used this for mostly wood and have been very happy with the small saw. I have used the cutoff wheel for cutting thin sheet metal and 1/4" round stock with ease. What thickness of metal do you plan on cutting?
I switched from Dremel Ultra Saw to this and absolutely love it! There isn't any grinding wheels for this except the super expensive 3.9" Kobalt ones with a 11mm arbor or the 3" ROTO discs. I got a 5/8's to 10mm adapter bushing and ran a 7/16 bit through it! Now I can run the really cheap blue fire 4" discs with 5/8ths arbors!
