illmatic826 first of all I’m not that person that likes Kobe bc he died i have been a fan since I was little and he was always my favorite player. Second, IMO Kobe is more clutch meaning if you are down 1 point and need him to score he will. He’s the best game ender and most clutch player of all time imo but u can think mj is I respect that
@@takeenr2461 Bro, even history shows that Jordan is more clutch than Kobe, the man has won how many Finals in the clutch?? lol come on now, I like Kobe too but lets not talk stupid about Jordan who is in every way a superior player over Kobe, matter of fact Jordan is who Kobe tried to emulate, end of discussion
@@whereisthelambsauce7753 It was a defensive finals series nobody shot well . Kobe went 6 of 24 fg with 11 of 15 ft for 23 pts the most on either team along with 15 rebs which was more than any single player on the Celtic had.
Dat Kobe Fan Kobe is like 28% on gamewinners in the playoffs.. 7/25 and Michael Jordan is 50% in the playoffs with 9/18.. 2 more makes and 7 less attemps
@elanorist you also have to take in account the years that Michael Jordan didn't play basketball and the stats he could've accumulated then. I would take Paul Pierce over Kobe Bryant in crunch time, call me crazy or whatever but that's just how I feel.
It just dawned on me with Kobe's death that he was a better 'clutch' shooter (that is ,a way more reliable scorer when the game comes down to the wire )than Lebron.
@@chosenone2154 Part of me almost always rooted for Lebron over the years . I think because I didn't see every regular season game I thought he was better than he actually is when it comes to clutch plays.. Funny thing I didn't like that he went to the Lakers (i like the Knicks), but now that Kobe has passed , I'd be happy if Lebron and the Lakers win this year's NBA title. But I appreciate your respectful approach.
Those three buzzer shots at the end, WOOOHOOOO! it's been a pleasure watching Kobe over the last few years, was great to see his game against the Knicks a few days ago... Absolutely amazing baller
@@royalmcmorris1211 idk, you cant just grade players on their offense and defense. There are other things like playmaking, playing for the team (not forcing your own shot), making your teammates better, playcalling, locker room presence, Utilizing your teammates strong points, and a bunch of other stuff. Lebron have all of these underrated aspects but kobe not really. Kobe had a better offense and defense, but in an organized basketball its more than just offense and defense.
@@royalmcmorris1211 are you stupid. If I will be the coach I will say put your full force to guard Kobe cause for sure he will not pass the ball let him shoot air balls and low percentage shot. If you will guard full force om Lebron, Lebron will not force anything. He will survey the play on the court and delivers the highest percentage shot possible. There are two sides of the coin you know. Lol.
Kobe was a killer. He use to hit some insane shots. Shots that will leave you scratching your head. It was crazy. Really, not being a Kobe fan in the beginning but over the years learned to appreciate his competitive nature and funny face expressions after a crazy shot. Still feel strange that he's gone. Grateful i was around to see Jordan and Kobe in my lifetime. Rest well my friend
OZZIE TYSON00 ok now what I want u to do is go and calm down... Then since ur already here on RU-vid type in steph Curry's impossible shots. Now come back when ur done.
Kobe was the best “shoot it in your face” in the most clutch moments. He LOVED these moments and I love him for it, he puts the pressure on his back win or lose.
Nik B 2001 and 2002 should have been Kobe's, he has more score than Shaq on that last 2 years. but the fact that Shaq wanted to be "The Man" on that Lakers years pushed himself to the limit and eventually lose on that 2004 Finals with an Injury.
shaq just ate because of weak east and phil's game plan was around him. during 4th qters kobe carried shaq 100% was more valuable. especially shaq got fouled out first finals kobe still carried shaq in ot without him. during west it was all kobe. shaq was avg 22 pt vs duncan lul while kobe was dropping 40 on them.
I had the best childhood in my life growing up idolizing him hes the reason why i played the game i really love the most thank you my childhood hero for all the inspirations
All of those who bring up Kobe's fg pct in the clutch, the degree of difficulty on these shots is an 11 on a scale of 10, much more difficult than LeBrons game winning layups
Joseph Song "Degree of difficulty" is your way of saying he has poor shot selection. If you can't use numbers to back up the claim that he's clutch then it's not true. I think people look more at his unwavering confidence in those situations than the actual results. If he's only hit 22-23% of his attempts in game winning moments then he's really not what you think he is. I'm not gonna get into the "prime time games" debate because I've seen him play poorly in the majority of his Finals games. He was just lucky enough to have a better team the majority of the time. Exhibit A of that would be Game 7 vs. Boston.
LifeAlpha with that logic some players aren't even champs cuz they're not fmvp. Pippen and rodman 0 time champs. Lmao lebron fans are the dumbest ppl i know. Spit BS as long as it supports Le2-4 james
Kobe man, I’m always gonna be yellin his name when opportunity come. I’m still gonna be watching these mixes and remembering the name. My fuckin’ idol.
I swear to God I have NEVER seen ANYBODY make smothering contested most difficult shots then KOBE shots that the great superstars wouldn't even attempted SMH unbelievable skills and confidence
James just always had the physical stature and freakish athleticism to help him out, even when he came out of high school. Take all that away from him, you have Rajon Rondo.
He is hitting that wall he is 30 so now he needs to develop outside game haven't watch too much B-Ball of Cavs but guessing same old shit dunks/layups.
Forever you will be missed Mamba, you have taught me what it means about hard work and dedication. I was in foster care since I was 4 years old, I was in the boys home during my whole teen years and I overcame those treacherous days but you gave hope to stay focus, everyday I watch a video about work ethic or just watch your classic games. You meant a lot to others but you saved my life. Every time I see or watch something about you It sends chills up my spine, every time I type something in the comments, I start tearing up but you will be forever missed- Love ya💔😢🐍🙏🏾🥀
Kobe: I drive Stick bruh, See, even when I'm balling I clutch man. and bro I like how you eased in that Cool baseline when Kobe hit the shot at the beginning !!
Bryant is the toughest player I have ever seen and I've been watching basketball since the early 80s. His hands are smaller than Jordans, his court vision isn't anywhere near Magic's.. but Bryant has played through ridiculous injuries and dropped 40 countless times. He's a remarkable player. Maybe the best ever.
@@drmobiandoom u really just went there? Skill? U want to talk about skill? Go watch a video called "Michael Jordan hang time air + pumps" them come back and apologize
@@Prodigal450 that just goes to show that he's ahead of his time. No one, and I mean NO ONE could guard Jordan cuz there was barely anyone athletic. No one saw this moves before, and so they fall for it. Also, one of the only times Jordan was actually playing against zone defense was during the Detroit Bad Boys run, aka the Jordan Rules. As time went on, he encountered that same kind of defense though.
People still arguing that Lebron is better than Kobe just because Lebron surpassed Kobe as the youngest to score on points clearly didn't know that Kobe started playing on NBA as a bench and when he got the starting role, Shaq was dominating the team.
David James how is he overrated the guy proved he was one of the best throughout his career I'm not taking away from lebron but Kobe definitely played with harder players
