I think it's more that they just want to be in a position where they have help and a chance to compete. I don't blame them to be honest, more than likely most of us would do the same thing.

David Hernandez If my team wasn't helpful enough then no, I wouldn't stay, especially if Ive been there for several years already... If the team were able to help compete for a championship, then yes. For instance, I feel like Lebron made the right choice at the time when he left, handled it poorly yes, but those Cavs weren't going to be able to get over that final hump. Durant on the other hand, he had more than enough help. I wouldn't have left, but I also don't know all the details. Maybe he didn't get along with Westbrook. Who knows.

How does his stench still linger over the Lakers?? Derozan said that because he doesn't want to fill the big shoes Kobe fit in cuz it would come with criticism if he didn't fit in. Also if that McIntyre dude who is just hating on Kobe and discredit him even when Kobe retired then I hope he still talking about Kobe affecting Lakers even to right now cuz I know he wouldn't because Lakers playing great the last month and a half and he wouldn't want to give credit to Kobe.

derozens 'nah, how can I match what past lakers greats did' response to potentially joining the Lakers made me glad he didn't end up here in the first place. So basically what these players are saying is that they'd rather tuck their tail between their legs than strive to achieve greatness? I say screw em, we already have too many guys on our roster that have the same lack of drive to be great. Boom.

They got Randle at 7. After that they got Dlo at 2. So that's count them ...ONE top 5 pick lol. They've since added Ingram making it 2 top 5 picks. They are garbage, but not hopeless. With a new coach, the addition of Ingram and a couple solid vets (to keep their heads on straight) this team is on the rise. Give them 2 years and enjoy the show.

Nobody thought Derozan would be the savior of the Lakers and if they did, they don't know basketball. Derozan is overrated AF. He was the most inconsistent all star in the playoffs. Hes lucky he doesn't play in the West because he doesn't get exposed as much in the weak ass east.

yeah i was gonna say, i wouldve wanted KD, or whiteside, on the team but im okay with mosgov and calderon, they arent brought in to win us rings, they are there to help our young core grow, also deng is a good player to have, D'lo is gonna get the keys to the offense and without kobe, the team can focus on growing and getting better

Dude. no.1 Dwight has a problem. You know why? His ego. Too big. He ain't NO Kareem. he ain't no Shaq. he ain't no Magic. he ain't even NEAR. Dwight had probs BEFORE hitting L.A. Now see as this may sound hatefull but what i said above doesn't say i dislike Dwight. He's an amazing guy.
