I'm glad you've enjoyed them so thoroughly! There is a ton to think about, but sometimes you've just got to begin otherwise you'll spend forever thinking for it. Blockwork wise, it was about £900 in labour for the blockwork, £1k~ for the blocks, sand and cement, and then about £450 for the concrete base. A further £50 for the rebar, and then naturally the digging/dpm and so on. Hope that helps :)

Thank you greatly for the subscription! I hope you're enjoying the videos. Tree's around here are nuts, and drop a stupid amount of leaves. So they'll be sat recessed into the wall, but then the corners of the wall opening to them will be cut at a 45 degree angle and so will actually widen the mouth of the skimmer (and in turn, the draw from the surface tension). Yeah, when it comes to liners, it makes things more difficult and they pretty much have to sit flush with the 9 inch blocks. Sounds like you've gone for the nuclear bunker build! I know @Koi With Paul did the same thing as well. Maybe check his build out for ideas regarding the skimmer? Although he did fibreglass.

All adds character to your pond though! It's things like that which are pretty cool in my opinion :)
