Worked on aircraft most of my life from Cessna's DC3's and Canadair Challengers etc. I was always noted by my perfection in my work and I see that same perfection and attention to detail in yours. Beautiful workmanship displayed here, I can see that you love your work and airplanes. I hope she flies as good for you as the love you put into it.
if you do say so yourself? I have a slightly humbler approach to my aircraft building (RV7A, RV4, RV3 partial) although like most homebuilders we strive for perfection it is foolhardy to believe we can or have attained it - we understand our limitations and seek to exceed them but never think we know it all and this is what keeps us safe...I am almost positive the builder of this Kolb will share my views, he is clearly not a first time builder.
your wings are a great deal like my clipped challenger wings on the quicksilver i have... i have photos on my facebook page of complet tear down and rebuild ...i have a rotax 377...come to think of it i dont have photos of the painting of them but yes they are UV protected by poly fiber products
