വിഡിയോസ് ഒക്കെ കണ്ട് ഇപ്പോൾ ഒരുപാട് ആളുകൾ ഞങ്ങടെ നാട്ടിലേക്ക് വരുന്നുണ്ട്. ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാട് കാണാൻ വന്ന് നശിപ്പിച്ചിട്ട് പോക്കും...🥺...വരമ്പത്തും, പാടത്തും, മല മുകളിലും, പുഴയോരത്തും, റോഡിലും ഇപ്പോൾ എവിടെ നോക്കിയാലും food waste ഉം, ചപ്പുചവറുകളും, plastic കുപ്പികളും ഒക്കെയാണ്... 😔... ആരും ഇപ്പോ ഇങ്ങോട് വരണം എന്നില്ല😭... വരമ്പത്തു കൂടെ നടക്കുമ്പോൾ ഓരോന്നും കാണുമ്പോൾ സങ്കടം വരും 🥺🥺🥺 ഇങ്ങനെ ഒക്കെ വൃത്തികേട് ആക്കി പോകുന്ന നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇതൊന്നും പറഞ്ഞാൽ മനസിലാവില്ല.! ഞങ്ങൾ ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ താമസിക്കുന്നവർ ആണ്, വെളുപ്പിന് എഴുന്നേറ്റ് വീടിലെ മുറ്റവും, പറമ്പും എല്ലാം തൂത്തു വാരി അടിച്ചു വൃത്തിയാക്കുമ്പോൾ ഉമ്മറത്തു കൂടെ പോകുന്ന ചെറിയ റോഡ് പോലും അടിച്ചു വൃത്തിയാക്കി ഇടുന്നവരാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ, അങ്ങനെ ആണ് ഒരു ദിവസം തുടങ്ങുന്നത് പോലും! കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ഞങ്ങടെ വടക്കേലെ മുത്തശ്ശന്റെ പശു കിടാവിനെ Trip എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് കാഴ്ച കാണാൻ വന്നവർ കള്ളും കുടിച്ചു വണ്ടി ഓടിച്ചു ഇടിപ്പിച്ചിട്ട് നിർത്താതെ പോയി കളഞ്ഞു 😭. ഞങ്ങൾ ആർക്കും ഒരു ദ്രോഹവും ചെയ്യുന്നില്ലല്ലോ 🥺 ഞങ്ങടെ നാട്ടിൽ വന്നിട്ട് ഇങ്ങനെ ഒക്കെ ചെയുന്നത് കാണുമ്പോൾ എന്തോരം സങ്കടം ഉണ്ടെന്ന് അറിയുമോ! ഞങ്ങളുടെ ലോകം എന്ന് പറയുന്നത് ഞങ്ങടെ ഈ കൊച്ചു ഗ്രാമം ആണ്. ഇപ്പോൾ ഒരു പേടി ആണ്.. നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും നശിപ്പിച്ചു കളയുമോ എന്ന്.. 🥺 മനോഹരം ആയതിനെ കണ്ടാൽ അതിനെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു പോകുന്നത് ആണല്ലോ ശീലം!!!

Im from Kollengode, beauty of this place is getting ruined because of the tourists and vloggers. It was peaceful place before now it is crowded with tourists and ruined with wastes like plastics and beer bottles. Don't come here if you can't keep this village clean

Palakkad is absolutely a stunning place..no doubts about it...post 2018 floods when the real estate market collapsed in Kerala, the only place where the land rates shot up was in Palakkad as experts declared it the most safe place and least affected by the devastating floods..that says it all..!! Lets unite and come together to preseve this blessed and gifted land..!

Absolutely, can't believe such a beautiful village or place is there in INdia. No doubt Kerala is the most beautiful state of India, but was wondering afterall people in Kerala are also Indians having the same attitude, same non-priority of hygiene, same greediness for destructive development based on destruction of environment, nature and concretisation and shortage of everything which is generally associated with modernity. But after seeing this video, can't help appreciating and saluting the people of Kolengode for upkeeping their village so beautifully and maintaining its true identity and kudos to the people of kerala for not going there and spoiling the beauty of this village. Generally, rest of India always criticizes people of Kerala for opposing development, but I salute the environmentalists of Kerala for opposing development at the cost of the destroying our nature. Its a wrong greedy thought and mindset of Indians that development means mandatory destruction of what nature has given us. Wish other villages of Kerala learn from people of Kolengode and ofcourse people of villages of the country. I would advise that people of Kolengode should be very strict with visitors from outside coming to visit their village and no mercy should be shown to them, if they are spoiling their village by any means and not following village rules. Generally, it is seen that outsiders spoil the beauty of existing places for their own fun. This is a must visit for every Indian, especially our children and future generation who has to be taken and connected back to Indian roots.

To save the pristine beauty of thid Village, the local people should come together and make a rule that any tourist coming will have to pay a fixed amount which then be utilised to keep the place as beautiful as it is. You cannot stop the tourists, you cannot make everyone sensible enough to keep place neat n clean, so as a general rule, collect a standard fee by the village community and utilise that in keeping it as it is forever.

Yes. Our Kollengade is beautiful with agricultural land awesome natural beauty and with simple people. But you dodnt capture the perumal koil agrahaam with Lakshminarayana perumal koil in erattaitheru (double street) and the siva temple in othai theru (single st.) And the main road connecting Guruvsyur and Pazhani.
