Great Video. I just got my Rig and It came with a shoulder pad. But it's crap. you gotta blow it up and I keep loosing air. My Rods will just slide out of the Handle Bars. I had to use extra strength like grip pliers just to tighten it down or else the else your loose your camera. I like your Shoulder Pads better. You should send me a link where I can buy.

I have one for my BMPCC 6K and what's nice about it is with my Sony cameras all I needed was the Sony Kondor Blue cage system...and the ultimate rig fits very nicely on that one as well. One ultimate rig, many cameras.

Yea, they have built a pretty diverse lineup of systems that work together.

One other note. I always take my battery plates they have, take out the screws and flip it. It seems to work better for my set-ups when I do that and creates a more stable battery connection. Of course I always flip the battery up, vs keeping it down like you have it.

It is a Sennheiser wireless with the lapel in my hat and good audio processing in post.

@@ScottBalkum lol As you mentioned in the video, it's the engineering they did for the adjustable handles that make the Nucleus M handles work. Also, regarding the shoulder pad, they were working on one but cancelled it about 9 months ago (I was told). I ended up getting the Smallrig Universal Shoulder Pad with 15mm LWS Rod Clamp to use on it.

I haven’t used the Tilta Universal Shoulder Rig so I couldn’t say. I am using the Zacuto Kamelon EVF. I did a full review and walkthrough of it on this channel.

Hi, when you touch the red komodo in the cage at the 14min36sec mark it flexes quite noticeable up and down. I have a similar situation with my A7SIII kondor blue cage rig. Is this kind of flex normal? Something to worry about? Thanks for the excellent video as always! :)

The short answer is, if you get flex, you should support and that’s what I was talking about at that point. Adding lens support gives you another point of contact and will minimize the flex. A little flex is ok, but in that config I was showing, lens support would be something I would run.
