You're right. Something sour like kimchi, vinegar sauce, lime, pickled papaya goes great with tapsilog as it cuts through the richness and saltiness of the dish.

When you cook fried rice, wait until the garlic turns light brown before you put the rice then put a pinch of salt. It will taste better that way and don't put the seasoning mix. It'll become too salty. You don't need that much saltiness in rice if you're eating tapa. The tapa should be the saltier one.

As far as I know there's no onions on "Beef Tapa", But there is, on "Bistek" But on Bistek there's no sugar. It looks good tho.Nice one. PS. Nice to see Bokyung again on your vlog.

Sylvia my tip when your going to squeeze lime or orange, slice it into half then put them in microwave for a minute. It’s much easier to squeeze it!

Bokyung is sooo pretty ❤❤... its more delicious if you marinate it for 24 hrs. You can also put vinegar on the tapa, it puts more flavor to the tapa.

I recommend pancit bihon. It's the Filipino variant of Japchae but is easier to make. Use bihon or thin vermicelli noodles. You also just need onion & garlic, celery, carrots, cabbage, green beans and a meat of your choice usually chicken strips or fishballs cut in half are what my family use. Saute the ingredients then after they are jus about done cooking, add water according to how much noodles you'll put (usually 3-4cups per pound of noodles), put 5tbsp of soy sauce then one chicken cube/buillion. Mix until the noodles absorb the water then season salt and pepper according to taste.
