Episode 21 got lost in the mail so we skipped straight to episode 22.. Your 7th favourite starcraft II duo lambo and harstem are back to give you some insane Noob in disguise action. Email for replays: Harambosc2@gmail.com
After the Protoss first push I was like, "hum, weird that they sent such a short game". Then I checked that it still had 20 mins of episode and I was "oh boy, it's gonna be one the weird ones" *grabs popcorn*
I feel like the Terran is a Protoss main and thought "Oh right SCVs can repair" and was just trying to heal the carriers forgetting they weren't his. /s
On NA the inability to follow up your build past six minutes caps your mmr around 2900. The giveaway that this was lower mmr than that though was the complete lack of harass or early timing attack in place of harass, those players are high gold or low plat
The Protoss opening build was 2800~3200 level, just below Diamond, then they added in some Silver elements later on into the game with some Grand Master elements (Carrier attacking the plate to get all interceptors out), it was a very confusing mix of skills they had.
ChatGpt TL;DW: In this episode of "Noobs in Disguise," the hosts analyze a Starcraft 2 replay between an anonymous player and a professional Starcraft player. They discuss the early game strategy, pointing out both strengths and mistakes. The hosts note that the Korean server replay is unusual, as Korean players tend to be more aggressive. They emphasize the importance of consistent worker production and efficient build orders, especially at lower levels. As the game progresses, they provide commentary on the players' decisions and strategies. Ultimately, they conclude that the Protoss player has a strong advantage due to effective carrier and Tempest micro. They estimate the Protoss player's MMR to be around 2900. However, the actual MMR of the Protoss player is revealed to be 2100, surprising the hosts due to the strong early game play. They speculate that the Korean server may have a different skill distribution.
Haha my thought multiple times was "this Terran is trying so hard to lose with every decision they make". Loses 10 Marines to some Carriers, "hmm, what if I do the same thing, but with only 5 Marines, & then do that again & again to ensure I lose all my units while killing none". Protoss earlier also tried very hard to lose by winning the game with the Blink Stalker attack, then doing anything except make units that kill bio xD.
Is this even still a thing? I think 2010 might have just called, wanting its memes back. And then "two thousand and blank called, they want their joke back" as the kicker. Sigh. Why do I do this (to myself)? 🤦
