Thanks for posting, I used to use Future Loops and a Triton years ago, instant drum groove, you can play it live without having to program it. In Rome these days, had all my stuff in storage in Kentucky, hundreds of disks, bought another Triton Classic 61 in Italy for about nothing, finally got all my disks (songs) here, Future Loops but now with Omnisphere, Trillian, Cubase 12. Very cool. Oh, and I have a Prophecy for the MOSS stuff but really it’s a great controller for Omnisphere along with the Korg MS20ic . The Triton is my favorite controller, great feeling keyboard, had a Kronos 61, sold it, terrible key-bed, great sounds but I’ve got plenty of great sounds with all the VST’s. Thanks again.
Hey brother I was wondering if you could help me out. It's hard enough being an Apache Native in Norway. I am trying to stay inspired and I can use your help with the Triton Studio EXBMOSS. I can't seem to load the data without erasing my factory presets. Now I know there is a way to do this. I did it before but I cannot find any videos on the process. I would be very grateful for your help. Thank you Silverbird
Hi Bro, Mine is just a classic. I think you can get some clues from the EXBMOSS manual here: cdn.korg.com/us/support/download/files/28b48ce284c81af147bef793258d6df9.pdf?response-content-disposition=inline%3Bfilename%3DEXBMOSSE2.pdf&response-content-type=application%2Fpdf%3B failing that, I would as KORG directly. They're quite responsive. 631-390-6500 Sales: Sales@korgusa.com Product Support: support@korgusa.com Customer Service: customerservice@korgusa.com
Are you trying to load a Bank of MOSS Programs? If so, the Triton can only load MOSS Programs into Bank F, which holds 128 MOSS Programs. Combis that use/reference MOSS Programs can use any Combi Bank (in a Combi using MOSS Programs you'll see any MOSS Program numbers starting with a letter "F" for Bank F). So if you are loading different MOSS Program Banks, it will overwrite the existing Program Bank F - it seems that's what is happening to you. If you have a Triton Studio, then regular (PCM/sample-based) Program Banks can be loaded into any of the 13 Banks INT-A to INT-E and EXT-A to EXT-H (over 1,600 Programs in total).
