hey man persephone was kidnapped by hades and forced too be his wife. Also the reason Zeus is that way is all greek gods have a fatal flaw Zeus's is power he cant ever allow anyone too ever become more powerful then him. Also if your father ate your siblings and tried too eat you then you had too cut them out of your fathers stomach im sure that would leave a mental scar on you for eternity. When Kratos killed his wife and daughter, he was under Ares' power, which caused him to be enraged, basically he was blinded by rage, brought about by Ares' power.

Kratos is technically immortal 3 times over, he is cursed to not be able to kill himself, he absorbed the soul of Hades, and he is a God so he will never die of age lol. Plus anytime he “dies” he just fights his way out of the afterlife like it’s a walk in the park

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if I remember correctly, Thanatos was the god of Peaceful death (old age and so forth) while there was a different god that was of violent death, so if Thanatos was to die there's still technically a god of death.

I don't know why people getting upset at people thinking Nezuko's new form looks good. After all, that's an ADULT form she took to harness the full extent of her powers, i.e. what she will look like as an adult. Whatever one he was in that bed going crazy with the women - yeah, because that narrows it down, doesn't it? Hope is actually a powerful weapon. It keeps you going, drives you forward, wills you to survive when you've literally got nothing left. In the hands of a demon like Kratos, that's like having a pistol, while everyone else you're fighting got a pocket knife.

A lot of the stuff in this game is loosely based on Greek mythology, hence the Greek gods and monsters. The part about Kratos being tricked into killing his wife and daughter is probably based on the story of Heracles (later renamed to Hercules by the Romans, I believe). In the mythical, Heracles sort of gets mind controlled into killing his own family and gets forced to do several near impossible tasks as punishment (the 12 Labors).

15:30 when Kratos threw himself off the cliff, which is where God Of War 1 ends, Athena stops him from dying and offers him the throne of the God Of War. They made him live because they still had plans for him. Just like his first mistake, he was enticed by power.

The reason Zeus is like this (At least in this game series) is because when Kratos first opened Pandora's Box to defeat Ares, the evil sin of Fear came out of the box and infected Zeus. Zeus now fears Kratos and obsessed over killing him.
