Fun fact: when the Doom Slayer picks up the Berserk ability, canonically, all he does is drop the facade and start punching like he could at any time beforehand. He doesn’t use guns because he NEEDS them, he uses guns because he LIKES them.
You know sometimes I wish scientists were politicians for a day. They are the closest to this you could get from what I have seen. and they know a lot more about what actually is beneficial to humans or at least a little more than a politician.
The thing is, both universes basically defy death, meaning killing either protagonist just boots them to their “hell” where they inevitably just fight their way back and keep fighting. I say it’s a draw
Eeeh true but there is one difference to note that makes it much more hilarious for the doomslayer,if we go by the game and how it's ending played out we learn the doomslayer IS the physical restart button on creation itself. When god turns into Lucifer or satan the doomslayer is sent to restart him back on track even if it means he takes all the argent energies within satan killing him.
Kratos doesn't defy death. If you'd play the GOW games instead of getting the history of Kratos from youtube reels, you'd know the first time Kratos escaped the underworld was from the aid from the Gravekeeper (Zeus), second time he dies he was restored by Gaia. And third time, Thor kills him and brings him back through shock therapy.
Its probably a draw considering they both have infinite strenhgt and speed. Kratos kills gods for a living and doomguy just goes around killing the creator of all things without breaking a sweat. The only reason he uses weapons is to make the demons suffer more. And so that the game is playable instead of just walking around like one punch man one shotting the entire army of hell.🗿
Doomguy is immortal Kratos will just keep on coming back stronger after he died as he is the representation of the phoenix reborn stronger if he dies and doomguy infinite strength kratos infine strength the fight would last for eternity lol
When they're both way too angry, they stop giving a crap about their weapons and start using their bare hands for maximum damage and destruction. It's a firm tie.
@joeygil-hz9kv In the comics and lore, he truly doesn't need guns he just uses them for convenience but if he lost them he can pretty much unironically rip and tear through everything that can be thrown at him
You see, that would be true if Doomslayer didn't cannonically have immortality negation, not even mentioning the fact that whoever the Doomslayer kills gets sent to an inescapable, empty void that negates powers.
@@MrPie-zn3us He killed a titan with his bare hands. Titans are immortal unless killed by a crucible weapon, yet he killed one permanently with his bare hands

Doom Slayers lore literally states that he has the ability to magically be stronger than any opponent he fights no matter who or what it is. They literally just made him, "Him". They wrote him to be "That Guy" in any fight.
So then that settles that it’s a tie, right? Because I remember hearing that Kratos has the same power; he becomes exponentially stronger throughout a fight until he’s strong enough to beat the guy he’s fighting. So if they both do that, they’d probably realize it’s an even match and then become bros right after
@@breakfastisoverrated8351 sure, but we're assuming that they would even fight in the first place. They don't fight for fun, they're not Goku, and they have completely different, non conflicting goals.
Funny thing about doom guy is that he doesn't actually need his guns,he just likes them as accessory,he can tear down the majority of hell with his fists alone
Both of these guys are canonically invincible, therefore, the fight would last until they decided to shake hands. For the people who keep telling me Kratos Died: Kratos is cursed to live forever. Even if he does technically "die", he always comes back, whether that's via electrocution from Mjolnir, or by literally climbing out of hell. Imagine it like the universe pulling strings to keep Kratos alive. Things can still happen, but Kratos will always manage to survive.

After about half an hour of punching each other they'll realize they're relatively evenly matched and then hunt down the one who tried forcing them to fight
@CarLoriderzwell even so Kratos is eternal so as long as doomslayer could take from kratos. Also Kratos has a hood gear on him too so that kind of situations may happen.
@@joeygil-hz9kvHe killed the being responsible for creating the DOOM multiverse, Davoth, in the Ancient Gods DLCs. Yes, Multiverse, because DoomSlayer/Doomguy comes from one Earth (the Earth of DOOM, DOOM II, DOOM 64, and DOOM The Lost Levels), while 2016 and Eternal are set on a different Earth. Doom 3 is the only one to not follow Doomguy/DoomSlayer and is set on a different Earth all together. Hell is the same though.
Both have literally fought through their respective hells. I think they would sense a kinship with each other. If they fought it would only be to test their strengths and probably come out of it learning what what they need to work on.
I have to agree with you , the fight would be like a sparring match in boxing or oyher maetial arts . They would learn from each other and become best friends probably
Kratos: They took something from you… something important. Slayer: Yes. Kratos: Then I know that feeling. (Slayer pulls out Super Shotgun, loads it and tosses it to Kratos. Kratos tosses the Chaos Blades to Slayer) Slayer: Rip and Tear. Kratos: Until it is Done. Gods and Demons: *OH FU-*
I'd like to imagine that rather than fighting, Kratos would see his past self in Doom Slayer, the unbridled rage and bloodlust akin to his own back then. This would trigger a mentor like relationship with one another.
Don’t forget: The Slayer crushed Davoth’s life sphere with his bare hands which is apparently similar to holding millions of stars going supernova. Edit: I started a war in the replies.

The demons in the lore they dropped a literal layer of hell on Doom Slayer and doom Slayer only uses his guns to make the demons suffer longer if he uses his hands he would absolutely eviscerate every demon he comes across
Kratos killed 2 Cultures worth of Gods an monsters, helt an Universe in his hands, and flipped it, crawled out of hell, and is cursed so he can’t die, gods are afraid of him
You do know Kratos solo the whole Greek pantheon and fought Odin Like bro Odin I’m the comics could probably solo every thing in doom slayers universe plus demons have nothing on the gods Kratos has killed
Speaking honestly, Doomslayer has lived for much longer than Kratos and has been fighting for far longer. Doomslayer, if we’re going by canon lore, is capable of soloing his foes with his bare hands, guns are literally just because he likes them. Davoth is also considered a multiversal level threat and his Hell literally consumes other realities, meaning it’s an infinite plane, and Doomslayer has put the fear of his existence into an infinite number of demons with terrifying power. Individually, the demons might not be able to measure up to the Greek Gods, but as groups they can just sweep them away, and Doomslayer kills them like nothing. Kratos is powerful, and maybe he can’t die thanks to his curse, but all Doomslayer needs to do is go full force from the start and not stop, which he CAN DO. He does not need to rest at all, and the general science behind his guns basically places them at an utterly DUMB level of their own (looking at you BFG), so he can honestly just wear down Kratos’s will to fight.
You forget he traveled between pantheons which are considered different words also killed his god of death and killed the sisters of fate also we can't really say because there powers are considerably toned down to add depth to there respective games so it's really just an opinion

Kirby Is low-key overated, hear me out, he can't eat enemies in is game, and he needs a power up to swallow a enemy, now imagine if Dante, doomslayer, Kratos picks up the power up and can Kratos just kill Kirby in the inside, Kratos has so many experience of going inside people (pause)
Way back I heard a cool comparison for this fight. The guy described it like an unstoppable force meets an immovable object, because they both have Infinit stats and it would be ending nowhere. I loved it so much that I always think of it like that
Technically wouldn't the immovable object break? If it can't be moved and the unstoppable force were to meet the force would keep going until the object broke, right?
@@progameroutcast242 all we know for certain about if theoretical situation was to actually happen is that the rest of the universe wouldn’t like the out come.
@@progameroutcast242 This actually originates in the Orient somewhere. The story goes merchant or something was selling a blade that cuts through everything and a shield that deflects everything. That's how I've always thought of it.
Doomslayer is known for his exceptional combat skills, especially against demons, and has an arsenal of high-tech weapons. He's extremely resilient and has a sheer determination to destroy his enemies. Kratos, on the other hand, is a god with immense strength, combat skills honed over centuries, and magical abilities. He's battled and defeated numerous gods and mythical creatures. So, who would win? It really depends on the circumstances of the fight. If it's purely based on physical strength and combat skills, Kratos might have an edge due to his godly nature. However, if technology and weapons come into play, Doomslayer could have the upper hand. In the end, it's a matter of interpretation and preference, as both characters are from different universes with different rules and abilities.
I think these two just look at each other and just instantly know they just found their new best friend .both of them like to not talk .they both like to absolutely fuck up anything in their way .and both of them aren’t too fond of upper beings like gods These mf would vibe together so god damn hard!
So here’s a slight plot armour for Kratos: He can technically die as he said “Death can have me when it earns me.” The problem is that he needs to give his %100 before dying. It is considered a disgrace and a suicide to be defeated without giving it your all in Spartan traditions so he can’t die while holding back and we’ve never seen him go all out in Norse and we know he’s much more powerful and wiser as he’s a god and his strength goes up as he ages. Right now he’s a little over 1000 years old so an old Kratos going all out is pretty terrifying to think about especially if he loses his control over his anger.
the doomguy has the power to kill immortal beings and abstract concepts, he can also transfer that power to any weapon he is wielding. I'm not inventing it, that's the official explanation of why he can kill canonically immortal beings with an ordinary shotgun.
And if doomguy dies he'll gladly fight the demons in hell and if he wants he could also crawl out and go back to Kratos infinitely. Aka the brawl is a draw because both can and have fought their way out of hell
I feel as though thematically and power wise it would work for Doom Slayer to win. He has essentially beaten the devil, has existed for centuries terrorizing Hell, and if he sees what Kratos did to his homeland Greece he would see no difference between this "God" and demons. It would also put a twist on it since essentially it was Man vs God for Kratos so him being on the other end would be interesting. In the end I feel as though after the initial fight and Doom Slayer having the upper hand he would see Kratos is not a demon but living as a man and trying to do right, so he would forgive him, since he is a Christian.
@QuigleTheGnome no, Kratos can't die because of a curse. He was cursed by the goddess Persephone. Every time he dies, something brings him back. Doom is too angry to die, plus he has that un penetrable armor, if it was lore doom vs. Lore Kratos they wouldn't be able to kill each other, so it would be an endless fight until they decide to forfeit or another demonic outbreak.

Doom slayer and kratos have some pretty crazy strengths. Kratos lifted every single realm, but the doom slayer was shot from a highly charged particle canon and smacked right into a structure. I wonder if bethesda will make the doom slayer do something that can rival kratos
The reason why I think kratos has the upper hand is because, Kratos is holding back his true strength and abilities because he is scared that if he uses his full strength in battle, he’ll go back to his old self, killing gods out of hate, and he is still very very strong, when he fought Thor in God of war ragnorok, it was a close fight, they was pretty similar, and he killed heimdall, and this is him holding back, it is said that gods get stronger as they age. And Doom slayer is no slouch when it comes to fighting, he has been killing demons for a very long time and had a TON of weapons in his arsenal, but if Kratos is holding back and was still able to destroy the Greek pantheon, and he was able to do all of this, while still holding back, that means, he is most likely stronger, but it all comes down to different circumstances in a fight, like if it’s a fully equipped fight and both of them are with all of their weapons, doom slayer would most likely win, but if was hand to hand with no weapons, kratos would most likely win, but if it’s was no rules and you could use whatever you want and use your full strength, Kratos would have the upper hand, in my opinion at the least. To be honest I only watched people play god of war, and I don’t know much about god of war, and I haven’t seen much of doom slayer either so please correct me if I’m wrong 😅
Doomslayer punches with the same force as a nuclear bomb so in melee doomslayer wouldn’t be a slouch either. Doomslayer can also not be hurt as long as his will remains in broken if I remember correctly.
Doomslayer arsenal is completely unnecessary. The only reason he uses guns is because he like shooting stuff that’s it. The berserk power up in doom isn’t actually a power up it’s simply doomslayer deciding to drop the facade and use his most effective weapons for a bit, his hands. So honestly in a contest of straight hands give me the slayer.
And kratos managed to hold cronos hands when he tried to kill him and got eaten and came back he escaped the underworld 3 TIMES and killed all gods and titans
