Kris Vallotton: Prosperity Gospel, Poverty, Riches, and Wealth | Learn More Here: bit.ly/2SiVAJQ
Watch as Bethel Senior Associate Leader Kris Vallotton and Bethel Associate Pastor and Dean of BSSM Dann Farrelly talk about the prosperity gospel and if that is something Bethel Church teaches or believes. Kris and Dann also discuss Kris Vallotton's book, Poverty, Riches, and Wealth, in this video.
ABOUT POVERTY, RICHES, AND WEALTH
Prosperity. It's one of the most dividing words in the Church. Some pastors use it to tell their congregations that God will make them all rich, rich, rich! Others spurn the word and insist that true Christlikeness is found in forsaking all worldly riches and possessions. The truth is, neither of these extremes is fully right or fully wrong.
In his book, Kris Vallotton mines the Scriptures in an eye-opening study of what the Bible really says about money, poverty, riches, and wealth. Kingdom prosperity begins from the inside out. When you learn to cultivate a mindset of abundance, no matter your circumstances, you will begin to experience the wealth of heaven in every area of your life.

Let there be a momentum of wealth transferred to the body of Christ, as in Joseph’s time, for the storing up and management of funds to flood the backing of continued Kingdom work and support of His saints in the coming season of economic drought and reset. Giving without interest, food for the hungry, shelter for the sheep, and supply for the needing. A testimony worldwide that it is Jehovah Jira who sees and provides!

Good word. All Americans are insanely rich compared to the world's system in say, Karachi, or the DPRK or most of Turkey or all of Afghanistan. But God's system gives his talents to each of us according to the measure of our faith and ability, which is why there should be jealousy among believers.

I would like to add something to this. I have met and work with folks who have either attended Bethel or on the streets , Japan, Taiwan, Nepal. Norway, etc, I have met Bill in serveral confences he has hosted, Very humble, very easy to approach and has love. Heidi Baker is the same. So my comment , " about living by faith" by Chris is not a reflection of the good Bethel and team have done to reach people around the world. I just don't agree that "living by faith' is some kind of free ride. It's takes work, humility and thankful heart to work a mission field whether at home or abroad. And more importantly people are not stupid, they have more discernment than ever before. ,, so if they give or "partner" it's because they usually do from good heart and the Holy Spirit leading them of course there are others who do it for the money and glory .,, But we are learning, People in Christ are different and the day will come if not now, when we will have to face the coming of the AC ( Antichrist) and it really won't matter then who is who. Because those that believe will hang together ,, or hang separately ( Benjamin Franklin) It will be very clear. ,,,, " he that wins souls is wise" and Bethel wins souls.. and so do I and others,,,,,, let God be the judge....

Jesus spoke most frequently to the poor and never promised them money or wealth. He gave them the opportunity to have heaven. Jesus showed a guideline for living life free of sin. He rose and the first thing he said to his apostles is "I have overcome the World". He did not say all of you are going to win the lottery. They prayed and the HS guided their decisions and then 11 of them died horrific deaths' and the 12th died exiled on an island.

When people have an issue with a God who desires to bless and prosper us, and scoff at anybody with more than they consider ‘okay to have’, I always just ask them - how much are we allowed to have then? Where do you draw the line for what is acceptable to have? Which car or house is considered sinful, or should we have cars at all? Are we allowed to sleep on a bed or have hot running water and meals? You would wish these things for the many who don’t have them. Are we to give to the poor? Why is that, if being poor is what God wants? Do you not thank God for the things you have? Kinda suggests He provided them. If He provided the things you have then you must recognise this is what He does. I find that people tend to curiously decide it’s okay to have just about the amount they happen to have themselves, maybe a little more. Go figure.

What they did is present where they're coming from, so that people who honestly want to know can find that out. There are people out there, not everyone thankfully, who have a level of prejudice and distrust toward Bethel that is not up for reconsideration in their minds, so it doesn't really matter what they say as far as people in that camp are concerned. Now are there other issues that have not yet been addressed that it would be helpful for them to answer? Yes, I suspect that is very true. @dagman85 I think what we're saying is they are doing a poor job of addressing issues people have raised. I think the distrust towards them they've well earned. @dagman85 3 года назад
@@garyleemusic - I think there can be merit to responding to criticisms at times, but what they did here is important, too, because it provides more of a sense of their actual position and the way they feel about things at a high level, with their priorities and values represented. If all they do is respond to criticisms, then the criticisms drive the agenda and in a way control the narrative and focus. It's similar to the way that it is better to focus on what Jesus wants to do, rather than always trying to counteract what the devil is doing. I'm not trying to equate critics and the devil when I say that, but just to provide parallel cases that demonstrate some of the importance of being proactive and not entirely reactive.

@@lindseyh5735 - I would push back a little bit on your definition of "the true gospel". Did Jesus preach the true gospel? There weren't too many times when Jesus talked to people other than His closest disciples about the fact that He was going to die to atone for their sins. He most often preached "repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand!" and then He would heal the sick, cast out demons, cleanse lepers, raise the dead, multiply food, and teach a lot about how we should and shouldn't live. What can we learn about the gospel from what Jesus taught? He is a swindler and a predator, anyone who understands what a shepard of God's flock should look like and behave like, can see that Kenneth Copeland is a wolf and you'd do well to stay away from him and his teachings. Why not look into this stuff yourself and ask God in a sincere heart to show you the truth? Put away all these "teachers" and study Gods Word intensely and ask Him to reveal the truth in His word. Easy to spot a counterfeit when you know the true one.

@@htebazileeilsel2293 Copeland never made any Trump prophesies, and he cursed Covid like he does all sickness. He has many people as guests on Victory News, most never prophesied that Trump would win but many spoke and believed for Trump to win. He is alive and healthy at age 85. Jesus tried to heal folks in Nazarus and failed because of their unbelief. Word of faith is romans 10:10. Before going on, this post was on prosperity gospel and Kris V, do you support his ministry?

3:20 --Yes, we know God lives in "extreme wealth" ... What you fail to mention is the obvious contrast-that we live in extreme sin because the whole world lies in extreme darkness... It's because of this that God's true gospel should be preached over the Prosperity gospel: Repentance from sin and Salvation by faith in Christ, because without this, no one will see God or ever see the most important "wealth" that lies for them in the hereafter: the Eternal wealth and riches God is storing up for them... /Poor exegesis should not be used to defend a spurious Prosperity Gospel.

That’s all a given^ your presumption that you we don’t do that is arrogant. How many people have you actually lead to repentance? How many peoples lives are actually being transformed from a life of sin to a life of righteousness around you? Be careful how you judge. Fruit bears witness of the tree, and if peoples lives are not continually being changed around you what kind of tree are you?

@@Klidebodybuilding --'Pure & Holy' be careful how you judge! ... How many people have you freed from the Coronavirus fear, and its twin-sibling the fear of taking the experimental vaccine? (What kind of tree are you?) ... I don't use "presumption," your words, I hear the actual words spoken by Bethel in this RU-vid video, and any 1st Year Bible student can recognize the very poor exegesis Bethel uses to rely on this argument that God lives in "extreme wealth", and so will every born-again Believer one day... What does that have to do with the darkness of the New Evil Order currently holding fearful Christians in its grip? ... So many double-minded Believers today think that their salvation from harm may lie in an experimental Wuhan-19 vaccine which provides no immunity. This is the greatest problem facing Christians today in the United States, bar none, and Bethel seems to think advocating their Prosperity Gospel is the best use of their time. For Shame. /Lonewolf Liberties
