Back in the 80s when Carol Burnett did a couple of dramatic roles, she did an interview in which she said that it's often easier for comedic actors to do serious roles as a opposed to dramatic actors doing comedy because comedy comes from a dark place within us and great comedians are very much in touch with this part of ourselves so when they do portray this darkness in a real way (in other words, a dramatic role), they often excel at it just as well as their comedic performances, if not better. Since then, I often think of that interview she gave whenever I see a comedian do a very dramatic role and I am usually very moved and impressed by the performance.

Its weird that Britain doesnt get or barely know about snl ..yet ask anyone in the uk who keith lemon or demot oleary is and literally everyone knows..its maddening

SNL is all about sketch comedy and improv. Everyone hates it in the moment but loves it in retrospect, because they are perpetually missing the old players.

i agreed with every word you said, apart from the last three....... is there ANYONE this talented,smart, cute, attractive ? ive yet to see anyone near as funny.......and add to that.....shes UNIQUE ! a true one-off ( as you can tell, i think shes pretty much a Goddess, and theres very few of those )
