so, because Ace Combat 5 was my entire childhood, this is nothing like the arkbird. the arkbird had internal engins, was launched off of an S.S.T.O., the wings did NOT curve up 90 degrees, didnt look like shit, and used atmospheric friction to change course.
+DJ SPAZZ You're right that it's not accurate, but to say it's nothing like the Arkbird is an insult. It is similar, and the best I could at the time with the parts and tools available in KSP.
Jere Ruotsalainen Fuck I miss that game. I have a rom but the performance is terrible (I have an AMD system. PS2 games don't emulate well on AMD). Oh well, I'll be able to play it in about a year (maybe a little less or more) when I build my next PC (since I'll be going for a pretty sharp increase in power from this system and Intel/nVidia).
Yeah. I miss that too. But soon when my PS2 is plugged again, i can play it. I play'd it like 10 times trough and now i'm trying to get the secre tand special aircrafts. If you have PS3, go try out the Ace Combat infinity. It has online play feature and its the FIRST frre to play Ace Combat!!!! AWESOME!
