@@kagato23 You know, speaking of Gear3 Luffy, I wonder if his weakness to not swim can still be exploited? Not to mention, Popeye has been peppered with bullets; other than a few hospital trips to remove said bullets, Popeye is unobliteratable. Not to mention, has Luffy ever gotten scratches in the past? Because that would mean he would still get wounded.

This was absolutely amazing. The battle scenes in this one, was so dope. These 2 guys are broken. The abilities these guys have is insane and they are so nonchalant. The animation, was absolutely amazing (man this makes no sense). Great reaction professor.

@@ProfessorKuro if you ask me, Saitama losing to Popeye felt more like a blessing compared to Goku vs Superman. Why? Because unlike Superman and how he embraces his OP-Ness, Saitama felt that his wish was more of a curse. The fact that he found someone who can break his grief (and isn’t a villain, BTW) means that he can die happy. Popeye is that fighter Saitama needed to break that curse. I mean, seriously, you’re gonna let Saitama win, despite the fact he wants to take back what he said about being powerful? You honestly think Popeye is not powerful enough to defeat a character that does have a limit? Oh well, at least you enjoyed the battle.

Thing is, even if Saitama has unbeatable strength, he still can’t beat everyone even if they aren’t gags. For example, he was unable to kill a monster just because it wasn’t physical. Meaning, put Saitama in a horror movie with a ghost, and he can’t stop it by punching it. Sure, he has nothing to worry about. He is too strong, so the ghost wouldn’t be able to hurt him, but as a hero, his main job is saving people.

I mean he did punches dimensions outside of space and time, grab the hyperspace gate that can link between dimension and kick them away. Travel throughout time and reverse causality with punches. He also can copy power and perfect them, grow infinitely stronger in an instant to never take damage too. So why he would not be able to just copy Popeye toon force and turn this fight around? For sure, a toon force character vs. a toon force character with the power to surpass any limits will beat the first one. Maybe not in one punch, but it will happen.

Saitama removed his Limiter, the Limiter in One-Punch Man is a supernatural equivalent to the real life Plateau effects, and basically. Removing it let you tap into near Omnipotence. Saitama can have any power and abilities he wants without trainings, we saw him having telepathy, traveling into spiritual dimension with his physical body. Kicking away object linking two dimensions together, resisting psychokinesis that manipulate a person vital energy, copying instantly martials arts that take years to lifetime of training, tanking 83.6 billion Grays of radiation (a gamma ray burst), being a multiple place at once, even inside a portal that has not opened yet (like Popeye) Copy a time travel ability that doesn't work and upgrade it to work and use it. And that with a glance. He also can resist his own full power without taking any damage by getting stronger than it exponentially, basically. Without even trying to, when fighting seriously his power surge when needed. If he would need to fight someone like Popeye I would not be surprised he come up with a toon force power-up.

The fact that so many people hear Popeye surviving his universe being destroyed, an attack that completely dwarfs any feat in the OPMverse, and STILL get mad when Saitama loses, proves just how dogshit people are at debating or providing evidence for anything they believe in.

10:26 no offence but that.... has got to be one of the worst arguments for Saitama I have ever heard... you somehow got "Saitama can beat Goku," from "we have never seen Saitama at full power." You got a definitive statement from an ambiguous claim. That's not only logically fallacious, it's also just plain ignorant. Ignoring the fact that Saitama actively said and thought to himself that he was finally going all out against Garou, but WE ALSO DONT KNOW GOKU'S FULL POTENTIAL EITHER. it's also just stupid to ignore what we have already all because we can't know how far their powers can get.

First all saying "no offense" and then being repeatedly disrespectful in a comment is not the way to go. Secondly, we have seen Goku at his max, multiple times, in fact every arc shows Goku at his latest peak. Vs Saitama who never goes all out in a full battle sense. Even against Garou he was going more serious and still growing in strength, so no actually my comments are not based in ignorance but in fact based on the logic of fiction. Saitama is written to be OP, Goku is written to always become stronger. It's simply a difference in what they mean as fictional characters. And that's why power scaling is a conversation not a science. It's agree or disagree and I can absolutely state my opinion because it's my view. That I back with evidence. Not a fact that I support with science.

@Professor Kuro what you're actively ignoring (aka, being *ignorant* about) is a little something called "growth." Both Saitama and Goku have both been shown going all out, and yet both still get stronger as the series goes on, because of their growth. Their maximums increase, and we've seen both of their current maximums. You can't take any statement of Goku saying he's going all out, then ignore when Saitama says the exact same thing, both out loud and to himself through inner dialogue. Both have limitless potential, but that doesn't matter because the gap in power that we see is so massive any growth from either is most likely never to happen. Saitama is OP, but only in his verse, where the worst opponent he's fought was multi-galaxy at the very best. Golu's been fighting dimensional threats ever since the Buu Saga.
