Do Re Mi was meant to be for an acoustic solo album he aimed to do with many other famous artists. (Him and Michael stipe from R.E.M came up with the idea.)
+Tomnedreb He was actually planning on it. Too bad someone had to put him out like that. He could've recovered. He was just down for a bit because of the whole Courtney thing. I could imagine his thoughts about her with all the facts adding up in my head. Just watch Soaked in Bleach. Nuff said.

every time i listen to this, i cry because of how talented kurt was. i wish he could've lived a longer life and i wish i could've been alive to see him perform. looking over everything he did, writing music, performing, starting a family... watching this video truly made me feel things.
I cried almost, too. When I see all this pictures of Kurt Cobain, I miss him, although I didn't even know him. He did such great work and music, he will always be rememberd. RIP Kurt Cobain, 25th Anniversary
This song & the Beatles cover to And I love her have to be the most underrated songs he ever recorded because it was just him and mainly just his thoughts and own emotions.
My father knew Kurt, he also has two guitars of his own, he told me how his gaze was a mixture of anger, melancholy and fear, he was just a boy who wanted to stay and play his guitar between four walls, I'm not afraid of death it's just a waste of time
You are gone, if you saw what people and A.I have achieved, totally crazy, they could do thousands of covers with your processed voice or tracks that follow algorithms but I definitely prefer to stay with these tapes. Rest in peace from the pain Kurt.
Songwriting/being in a band you're changing shit until the very last second. You'll change it until the minute its released and then you're just like "ope this is it now"
Might be the greatest song ever. I mean listen to it. One guitar. One voice. The lyrics. That haunting melody that is creepy but so beautiful. Ima go ahead and call this the greatest song of all time.
Makes me cry everytime i watch this. Just so amazing. Nirvana fans have a really different taste in music, if i were to show this to a non-nirvana fan they would say "low quality, or nirvana always sounded cheap, or crappy" to be a REAL legit nirvana fan you have to hear every song to travel through kurts head. One of the most amazing songwriters ever. just put yourself in his shoes, he had so much pain, sad how great people go like this..
To preface, I say this as someone who doesn’t know the *full* story surrounding Kurt Cobain’s relationship with Courtney Love and his daughter. All I know about Courtney Love is that she was also an artist (maybe before or after they met?) and that she was his wife. I’ve only listened to around 8 or 9 of Nirvana’s songs including some demos by Kurt, all of which I’ve enjoyed, and watched the Biographics channel’s mini-documentary on Kurt’s life, as well as clips from separate interviews with Kris Novoselich, Dave Grohl, and Frances Bean about Kurt’s suicide and absence from their lives from them onwards. I’ve also seen a few of those videos of Kurt just being a goofball with and without his former band mates. From this wonderfully put together collage, combined with this song and what I know so far of Kurt and his life, it’s all just so sad to observe. I see a guy who was funny, intelligent, creative, affectionate towards animals (there’s a picture of him holding a kitten close to his daughter and another of him holding a puppy in this collage), a loving father, or at least it seems like he really tried to be, in his time with Frances. A great person all around. However, his demons sadly proved to be too strong for him to be able to continue on at a point. As much as I hate to say this, which I again say not knowing the *full* background to his relationship with Courtney Love, I don’t think his wife really did as much as she could have to help him on a personal level. I hate to sound shallow saying this, but whenever I look at Courtney Love she just emits this aura that really rubs me the wrong way. She seems a bit phony to me, as if she’s concerned more with her own personal vanity and success than the well-being of others. I feel as though she didn’t value Kurt as much as she should have. I had to put this thought out there in *some* form instead of just purely letting it simmer in my mind. I hope I at least made some sense in expressing my thoughts on this situation. If you’d like to let me know how off-base I am, please do. I just pulled this out of my ass as I listened to this for the 1st time earlier today. Long story short: I think Kurt Cobain was probably an overall good dude who wasn’t as valued by his romantic partner as he deserved. It just breaks my heart to even think about people not valuing those they have romantic attachments to as much as they should.
Literally every single Nirvana/Kurt fan hates Courtney. Some even have this shitty theory that she shot Kurt with the shotgun (and somehow made him write a suicide note). This theory makes absolutely no sense but some still believe it's true...
If he made a solo album I can't help but imagine it would have been the greatest thing ever with a similar mindset to niandra lades and the madcap laughs he would have probably managed to put all of himself in it more than any other album
I hate it when people Say that stars like Rihanna, Beyoncé, justin biebier, Ariana grande, etc... are talented, when most of The time they dont even write there own songs, if Only they could see these vídeos of kurt, so they can check out what real talent is like.
kurt Knightley Kurt didn't write ALL his songs. I've seen a lot that are covers. Still, he did write a lot on his own. But yes, I see what you're saying. And yes, I agree. And also, he is one of my favorite people. Never got to meet him, but he's someone I'll never forget.
As I've grown up, Ive realized people can still be talented in their own way. I would say kurt is more talented, but you cant say someone like bieber isnt talented. You go up on stage and try and get millions of people entertained, it's not easy at all. trust me, ive been in bands. One of the best feelings tho
I dont have a beard Nirvana has been one of my favourite bands for years becouse I like their songwriting but in terms of singing Rihanna is probably way more talented than Kurt, even tho a lot of "born in the wrong generation" snowflakes would never admit it
Der Baron I agree but also disagree in different terms. She can hit higher notes better, but Kurt can scream and sing at the same time that no one else was able to do it the way he did because of literally the way his stomach was positioned with his spine from his bad posture, including scoliosis. Everyone that tries to copy his singing (and can do it close to spot on) does this little hitch on their posture that's similar to his scoliosis, check it out on videos and you'll see what I mean. But also Kurt was able to do pretty complicated rythmn on top of singing. Like for example, drain you on top of singing is actually really hard, unless you go exactly on time at the beginning. Pay attention to their early live preformances of it. If Kurt doesnt go exactly on time in the beginning he will restart the whole song. But yeah just wanted to point out some things. She would definitely beat him at dancing talent of course haha or who knows maybe he was more talented behind closed doors lol
What else should I be All apologies What else could I say Everyone is gay What else could I write I don't have the right What else should I be All apologies In the sun In the sun I feel as one In the sun In the sun Married Buried I wish I was like you Easily amused Find my nest of salt Everything's my fault I take all the blame Aqua seafoam shame Sunburn, freezer burn Choking on the ashes of her enemy In the sun In the sun I feel as one In the sun In the sun Married Married Married Buried yeah yeah yeah All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are All in all is all we are
The original lyric may be more poetic and in line with the rest of Kurts vibe, but the final line isnt just nonsense it makes more sense to the theme of the song. Kurt was tired of the media picking apart his songs with what he could and couldn't say and that was his response.
@@ChickenTiTs37 i think is talking of nirvana, not the band the budism thing (i am spanish and i dont know how to say it, but if u do not understand translate this -> el estado de nirvana en el budismo)
