i think it should just be early war, mid war, late war. i dont really care for an arbitrary battle rating. also an in game deployment cost for vehicles and squads depending on loadout in the form of match points, no currency. its simpler, faster, and less BS spam
I agree. I think they might be preparing it since many br3-4 additions last months plus the full auto +big tonk for each nation. Br3-4 would be nuts, and people will still always play 2 and 5 anyway
PZ 4 G was in stalingrad, you are right. The thing is pz4 "f2" and G are the same exact vehicle, f2 was just a factory designation for like 3 months before it switched to g.
@@EclipseZer0 Most Panzer 4 F2 models were retrofitted with extra armor as well. When the extra armor package became factory standard, that is when the designation changed from F2 to G, but the vehicles are otherwise identical.
My thoughts on some of the additions to this update. Kv-2 is fine and long overdue. The high explosive shells would roughly be like a 50 kilo bomb, utterly insane. The 8,8 cm Flak 37 Sfl truck at BR.4 makes very little sense. It is essentially a Tiger gun on a less armored chassis that is also slower and has an exposed crew as well as limited gun depression over the front of the vehicle. Also if this is copy/pasted from War thunder then it will also have a less effective 88mm shell with about 30mm less penetration (but a much larger internal bursting charge). One benefit though is that it should have a roughly 4 second reload, so that will be insane. The I-185 is likely going to be the new best fighter in the game. Busted ass flight model from War thunder along with crazy amounts of firepower and 2x250 kg bombs? Keep in mind that the top tier fighters for Germany don't get any bombs what so ever :D Т-34-57 is all good, it'll be fun to play. the 57mm gun has about 120mm of penetration I believe, so it will be able to go through Tigers. Panzer 4 G, I like that they are making it a bit different from the Stalingrad version. It should be a very good tank for Germany, essentially a Panzer 4 J with a turret that works. New best tank for BR.3 Germany. T20 battle rifle and 76mm Jumbo Sherman, both long overdue. The Jumbo Sherman armor holds up very well against Tiger tanks. Panthers can go through you at most ranges and Tiger 2 will laugh at your pitiful excuse for armor. It will be an absolute monster for Japan to deal with though! and finally for Japan, I know nothing of the KE7 but it looks decent. Chi-To is so much needed for Japan and it is what we should have gotten instead of the Ho-Ri(ble). Ho-Ri is completely unhistoric, it was never built, only blueprints about it is known to exist as well as a couple of gun barrels. No evidence that any example was every built. Chi-To however was about to start serial production and two different designs had been proposed and produced. It looks like we are getting the first Chi-To design. The two designs are very similar but the second version had slightly improved frontal armor with a much better slope. In terms of Performance, the Chi-To sits kind of in the middle of a Panzer 4 and a Tiger. The armor is roughly equal to the Panzer 4 medium tank but the long barrel 75mm gun has very similar performance to the short 88mm on the Tiger 1. It should be very good!
Happy birthday. Also I think the sfl br placement makes sense when you think about its fast rpm. The sfl can beat the kv2 in terms of kills just because it fires faster.

Also as someone whos only been played for little over 2 weeks, id love to see them add BR6 then change br to 1-2 3-4 5-6. i think that would make alot of sense from what ive seen looking at the tech trees. and also they need to decluster the german tech tree...its really putting me off playing that faction lol. edit: also looking forward to your japan guide!
Been waiting for this video I want to say: -The kv2 belongs in BR3, since kv2 made in 1940, kv2 belongs in BR3. Kv2 needs to be in BR3 as kv2 realod is 1min -Milk truck belongs to BR3, milk truck doesn't make sense to go with a tiger which is a more armoured milk truck
@@st0nks KV2 has a long reload so it can't kill infantry and can't kill tanks which sets it back to BR3 Milk truck is literally just an unarmed tiger so that sets it back to br3
My biggest gripe with Japan is that all 3 of the best Japanese fighter planes are attached to same squads, meanwhile the other fighters are carrier takeoff. Really not cool when American pilots can deploy several better planes from high altitude. Also happy birthday- you should buy me a KV2 for your birthday.
It is nice for Japan to get some new toys, especially since their tank line is basically 40% non turreted tanks but it would be nice to also have some new maps, like involving the Soviet Japanese border conflicts
I always said they should put a bigger gun on the jumbo, but I never thought they would actually do it. And we get tech tree T20’s? With a bayonet? I must be dreaming! It’s going to be hell for the axis for at least a few weeks, altho not much will change for Japan I guess 🫡. Happy birthday Quadro!
Happy Birthday, bot! I like this update, has some cool stuff coming. I just think that, with the Cheeto coming, the Chi-Nu definitely needs to move down to BR III. Japan currently has no Sherman answer besides hand held AT at BR III and under
Remeber how you talked about how the pacific was the best campaign...? Well, I hope Darkflow eventually adds the swamps of Manila and the invasion of Manchuria (Soviets vs Japan), so that every nation has 2 different enemies.
Hopefully in the next year or so we get a USSR vs Japan map (or two). Give both sides a new faction to fight and the maps would be wicked cool and a first in FPS history as far as I know.
I think a better BR system would be a 1 up 1 down, but with only 2 BRs. So br 3 could fight BR 4 or 2 but the matches would either be BR2vs3 or BR3vs4.
Br 4 (figths tigers and panthers with better armour and pen) + premium + long reload so the KV will probably be trash, sadly. I am looking forward to the Flak 37, T20 Automatic Rifle, KE7, and Chi-To in the next update. I believe the Chi-To will be necessary for the Japanese at Tier 4 because the Chi-Nu is only a worse Panzer 4.
Tbh, as a japan main, i grind most of the time in custom battles. I just got naturally sick of the regular pacific maps, playing them just for when i want to tryhard for the event
Some more news in this major update if you add a battle pass solder to ANY squad that squad gets a 20% exp bost I don't know if it stacks but yeah some good new for your B-day Quadro
Basically, they're adding the panzer 4 G back to the research tree after making it grandfathered content, and to keep the stalingrad pass owners pacified, they're adding APCR rounds to the old G version (rest in peace my exclusive content) Otherwise, happy birthday :)
Japan is awesome but you need a different approach than the other 3 factions. I perk and equip most of my Infantry for speed and added melee when possible. Banzai!!
I dont know why people are so excited with the jumbo 76, maybe when the germans only had the Tiger 1 but we have the king tiger and it can easily pen the regular jumbo.
If the 76 jumbo has APCR best US tank Full stop fast reloading stabilized gun decent HE subpar armor at high BR but still good mobility the best US tank easy
