Coming from the Bay Area, this guy had such high hopes from the people here. Cal fans thought he could be a superstar in Baltimore and with that defense and running game he really should have been better. When he came to Oakland we thought we could turn him into the next great Raider reclamation project until he started that game against KC and got destroyed.

My dad is a Cal Bears fan and he watched Boller play there and he says he knew Boller was never going to succeed in the NFL and with my dad being a Raiders fan he wasn't excited when he was starting that game against the Chiefs in 2011. Boller only completed around 50% of his passes in college, I know stats aren't everything but that's very concerning if you are only completing that many of your passes at the college level.

With these highlights you would think he was a lot better than what he really was. All those years as a Ravens fan it gave me depression. Lol I’m sure he’s a nice guy and hates the history he has so I don’t wanna knock him too much

If only Todd Heap would have played in this era, he’d have been one of the greatest.

So much for Billick and his "genius"

Not much genius in Billick, who destroyed all his QB's confidence.

It’s funny, because now, Bill, like blames it on having a need for a quarterback, even though they notoriously never picked for need and only picked the best player for any position regardless of need.

Kyle Boller was a solid quarterback who never succeed in the NFL because he threw more interceptions than touchdowns.

Boller was the most average nfl QB. Or below average. Look at how far we’ve come now with Lamar but we’re gonna lose him. I can’t wait to not root for the ravens ever again when they give Lamar up. And I’ve been a fan since 2001

A good player held back by an incompetent head coach who destroyed his confidence.
