Kyoraku vs Starrk Full Fight English Sub 

I swear through sheer accident Kyoraku could have got Aizen if he used his Bankai. Only reason he lost other then he didnt use it was he was battle damaged from Stark. What I am saying is that Kyoraku is a beast and deserves to be Captain-Commander

His bankai is one of the few that can counter Aizen shikai. I think bankai shunsui wins but just how strong base Aizen is begs the question if it's enough

Bleach works on the rule of *Moar Dakka* like DBZ. The more spiritual power you have, the more spiritual pressure you can let off, which means you can pretty much ignore anything with lesser spiritual pressure. Aizen and Ichigo shows this off during their final confrontation.

@@rohithg3000 don't really work how you say it does. Simply having higher reiastu doesn't negate abilties. It has to be on a level so far above your enemy that it overwhelms and crushes their power. Aizen could do this to soi fon because she can not began to compare to his level. The same can not be said for people like yama, shunsui, zero squad and ichigo. Aizen has higher reiastu than them(expect for ichigo) but he wouldn't be able to negate their abilties. At least not base Aizen. TYBW arc Aizen is a different story. That's why Aizen didn't fight Yama. He has higher reiastu than him but not by a overwhelming amount. More goes into a fight than just reiastu. There is also zanpakuto abilties and physical strength. Yama makes up for his lesser reiastu than Aizen with his immense destructive zanpakuto

But yes, you're right about outright negation being a bit more convoluted than what I stated. Though you forgot that one scene with Kenpachi and Ichigo which started this trend of 'Mo Powah Babeh' in the first place. I kinda equated it two streams of water flowing against one another. The stream with more water (reiryoku) and faster flow (reiatsu) beats and overwhelms the other, regardless of the properties of the second slower stream. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) this was the reason why soul reapers were able to push back Quincies, even though the Quincy had far more esoteric powers (hax).

Kyoraku is smarter. Kyoraku was toying with Starrk through out the entire fight. He was not only playing children's games with Starrk he was also playing mind games. From deducing Linette's significance to manipulating Starrk psychologically. Kyoraku was in complete control of the battle with the exception of losing his composure when Wonderwiess injured Ukitake.

Uh, no. It's cuz Shunsui intends to fight seriously and not have back up. He was going to bankai starrk into non-existence if he had to, to ensure an advantage for seireitei. He wanted ukitake to hold the haori while he fought seriously and alone. Ukitake, knowing just how strong and busted shunsui is decided they should jump starrk instead. Starrk was literally an afterthought to ukitake when he realized shunsui was going to risk nuking the fkt battlefield with his bankai. Starrk never stood a chance here, unfortunately. He would’ve had his everything negged and neutered by shunsui's bankai unless he had another release, which he doesn't cuz he's mortally wounded and just dies. But yeah, slight correction here. Ukitake is just avoiding the mutually assured trainwreck of that nasty bankai and the unwanted chaos it'd bring.

Based on my assessment, Shunsui is in that Byakuya tier, a bit above Renji and Toshiro who are about equal. Shunsui and Ukitake are seen as unmatched, why would Shunsui ever be considered in the same league if Ukitake is so much stronger? Ukitake has higher spiritual pressure than post Unohana Kenpachi. Shunsui is right in that ballpark of raw power. Starrk is hanging with the maskless vizard captains and is getting his bones broken by the same star satsujin barrage that Renji shrugged off, you can't even deny that. Lille's unquestionable position in the schutzstaffel can't be such that Bazz-b would physically bully him until his schrift is fully released. It's shown that a powerful enough ability can reach him. Burning finger four or burning fullfingers is literally Ryujin Jakka but lower spiritual pressure. Surely that would reach him and with the spiritual difference, making an attack connect is light work considering he won't be able to perceive him. Dude Starrk is Rose but smarter, with unnavoidable fireworks and that's that. Not saying he's weak but he can't be at the level you're referring to

@🃏 chewié 🃏 I read everything but I'm a bit confused as to how you gauge a character's stats. You say "physically" alot but most comparisons here are reiatsu related. Renji doesn't hit as hard physically as Kensei or Mask, honestly it's not even close. What that means is that if you should equalize reiatsu, Kensei would do more damage. Under regular circumstances, Renji does more damage not because of physical strength but superior reiatsu. Is that part out of the way cuz if it's not it'd be like I'm talking to bench and have no way of making anything clear

He's efficient. He was going to nuke starrk into hell before ukitake suggested they work together. He's not so much lazy as he's just assessing the situation waiting for the best moment to oneshot.

Because aizen had to be establish as able to oneshot the entirety of seireitei's forces before he fought yamamoto and then ichigo. And the veteran captains had to be made to look equal to or weaker than aizen before he used his hypnosis. Otherwise, aizen just wounds you (or himself) and breaks the hypnosis without beating you.

yeah i can agree that bleach’s powerscaling is vague and seems inconsistent at times. the thing is they all get pretty significant buffs in the final arc, although shunsui didn’t change much admittedly. i think they were mostly intimidated by it because of its size and because they didn’t know what to expect from it and cause it could summon menos. cause mashiro after all was able to destroy it with a kick lmao so i don’t think it was meant to be a legitimate threat itself

Gist of it is that the smaller second sword (Kyokotsu) was created by the larger one (Katen) to store Nanao's sword. Now HOW it created the second spirit is beyond anyone. Common headcanon is that Shunsui quite literally slept with his sword's spirit resulting in the second's creation.
