I've had every year from '74 on down to '79 Z-1 and KZ 900 and 1000!!! I gotta have a 1973 Z-1 900, fully restored!!! Also I like to have a '76 KZ 900 Police bike like CHiPs!!! I have plenty parts to revamp these bikes!!! Someone gave me a '76 KZ900 LTD, in runnin' condition with a 1200cc drag motor!!!! Like to have it restored to original!!!

Thanks for your videos on these bikes. I looked at a couple kz s in western Pennsylvania and they want 5 to 6 grand for the way you push that 1000 old of the barn. I just walk away.

Yes, you do great work, but what a sad bike at first.

Nice to see a calm and reasoned effort to return these bikes to the street as real riders without all the poser smart fellers(hoser fart smellers) taking the grinder to the ass end and fenders and adding the flat bars, crappy tires etc.etc. that are the posers fad "build" these days....These bikes were built to be big, smooth, fast and comfortable. Good to know they get another chance to fulfill their mission...

Cant fathom how Kawasaki thought only 1 disc was sufficient, all UK big Zs had twin fronts from '72 onward. Edit: The Z900 LTD may be an exception!: did all the models come with twin discs and cast wheels?

Interesting. No brake on the rear wheel. I'm no inspector Clouseau, but might that have something to do with the bent front end?
